I have been buying new vehicles for 40 years and have had some issues with dealers in the past. We had recently been looking to buy a new RAM 2500 4 WD Diesel and had not been impressed with the attitude/follow-up from the dealers near our home. During a visit to our grandson in San Diego (200 miles from home) we decided to check out a local dealer just for fun. An hour later we were the happy owners of a new truck. The customer service and attitudes were very refreshing. (especially in 2012) Our sales consultant Joe Perkins was awesome. After the sale we had a couple follow-up questions and he got back to us within the hour with the answers. JJ Carr the sales manager was great to deal with as well as Fernando and the finance guys Mike and Bennett. Carl Burger had to have been a very talented businessman as evidenced by the staff/operation here. It is as fine a dealership as we have ever dealt with. We highly recommend. Stan & Sandy Vath More

Worse place to shop for a car. If financial fraud was name of the business I would rate them 5 out of 5. Go somewhere else. They talk a good game. But after you sing the papers they forget about you. From the moment my husband and I met Eric, we knew we were in great hands. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, polite, welcoming, confidant, are just few of the words that describe Eric and the service tha were in great hands. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, polite, welcoming, confidant, are just few of the words that describe Eric and the service that he had given us. We felt completely comfortable with him and knew that he had our best interests in mind. We had originally came to the dealership to look at a particular car, however after the test drive, the car wasn't for us (just wasn't our style). We asked about another vehicle on the lot, and Eric said that it was available however a bit above our budget. We really liked that: he was honest and cared about us, not the sale. We asked to try the other vehicle anyway, and fell in love. Eric was great at explaining the features of the vehicle and pointing out things we may not have noticed. We did not feel rushed at all; instead we felt free to spend time with the car to make sure it fit. He also discreetly gave us privacy while we discussed our options. In the end, we did not feel pressure to purchase our vehicle.. rather, we purchased our vehicle with Eric's care, help, and expertise. After we drove off with our new car (Woohoo!) the great service didn't end there. We still really feel like part of the family at Carl Burger. More

We needed emergency brake-work on our van and were able to make an appointment for one hour after we called. (appreciate that!) Mr. Guerra and Mr. Garcia greeted us quickly and respectfully. We were taken through a process that all quality dealers provide: They asked what concerns we had, explained what was going to happen and came through as same. I had worked in the auto business for almost twenty years and pay attention to all of the finer details that good customer service entails. These guys nailed them all!!! I've driven the van for only two days, but the quality of work seems to be flawless thus far. My overall experience - from the appointment coordinator to the shuttle driver was EXCELLENT! I got an inkling to go to Carl burger just to look at cars because mine was on its last leg. When I arrived, a smiling face met me and introduced himself as Joe. We talked a bit and I explained that I had just bought a large ticket item and my credit might be maxed. He suggested we run a check to see where we would be realistically. He ran the report and showed me some cars. Once I found a car I liked he introduced me to the manager, the finance guy and a few others. Chris was great. I even had hot chocolate while I waited my turn! Joe was really great too, he drove my car up to the window and put it on display for me to look at. Within a couple of hours I had gone from a curious lady to a new 2012 car owner. Everyone was cordial, reassuring, kind and professional. I had heard a good report about them before. I have never been more pleased and pleasantly surprised. They explained each step as the process moved forward and made me feel like I was a customer and not a "quota". If you have credit issues and concerns the key is to be prepared, honest and realistic when you are attempting to make any purchase. Help them to help you.
