Just bought a 2014 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Laramie 4x4 from Gibson at Carl's Burger. We did the entire deal over the internet and phone since I was in Valencia, Ca 3 hours away. The reason I went there was t Gibson at Carl's Burger. We did the entire deal over the internet and phone since I was in Valencia, Ca 3 hours away. The reason I went there was they had the vehicle with all the options I wanted at a reasonable price. The dealership closest to me was absolutely horrible, they never introduce themselves, ask for my or my wife's name and left us to look around the lot by ourself. Carls and Gibson had more interest and gave us better customer service 160 miles away. People will drive and go great distance for deal and being treated right. Definitely would recommend! Thumbs up. Was picked up on time as promised by Nick Rasheed at old town train station , truck was ready to be test driven , truck was exact one we had discussed in e mail and on line , after test drive started paper town train station , truck was ready to be test driven , truck was exact one we had discussed in e mail and on line , after test drive started paper work , price was already negotiated so all we had to do was wait for credit approval , after that truck was gassed and washed and I was on my way : 3.5 hours back to my town ! I have given great reviews because everything was as promised and down in a friendly / timely manner More

I can't say enough about Carl Burger. They did a fantastic job working to find the exact car I wanted and I got an insane deal. Seriously, insane. Once I found the car I wanted to purchase, Troy wen fantastic job working to find the exact car I wanted and I got an insane deal. Seriously, insane. Once I found the car I wanted to purchase, Troy went out of his way to go and get it 90 miles up the road the night that I found it. Good communication, low pressure sales, and a fantastic price gets 5 stars in my book. Way to go Troy and Kyle! I've already recommended these guys to a few friends and family. More
It was a good experience. People were attentive to my needs and requests. A bit too much "negotiating" with the sales manager, but I do understand it is a business. needs and requests. A bit too much "negotiating" with the sales manager, but I do understand it is a business. More
I have a Dodge Ram with low milage. About six months ago, I was having a problem after going over bumps or dips (I live two miles down a very rugged dirt road), where the truck would shut itself down into a I was having a problem after going over bumps or dips (I live two miles down a very rugged dirt road), where the truck would shut itself down into a limiter or safe mode. After this happening repeatedly, I took the truck to a dodge dealer in Temecula who diagnosed the problem as a CAM sensor and replaced it. After that repair, the truck ran wonderfully… for another five months. After that five months, I was down in San Diego (where I work) and on my way back, my truck started doing the same thing it had been doing months before, but this time it was on the freeway, in the fast lane and instead of just shutting down, it took away my power steering. Talk about SCARY. Naturally, I was completely petrified about driving the truck all the way back to Temecula so I took the truck to Carl Burger. I had taken it there after I bought it for small repairs and oil changes and never had any complaints so I figured I would be able to drive my truck home in a couple days. Boy, I could not have been more wrong. Since I had JUST dealt with this same problem, I believed the new problem was like the old or at least related. I told the service advisor of the problem, what I had done recently to fix it and all the problems I was having with it recently, and left it in their hands to figure it out. During that day I waited and waited for a response from them. Hours went by as I was sitting, waiting at a friends house for the result and I didn't hear anything. I finally was done waiting so I called and was told that I had a problem with my battery and battery terminals along with needing a fuel injection service and that would hopefully fix the problem. This sounded like complete hog-wash to me and I know VERY little about cars. Even if the battery needed to be replaced, the truck still ran and started and fuel injection service is routine maintenance. At this point, I started to get frustrated. It was clear to me that the truck had a problem that was bigger than the battery and these people were trying to sell me routine maintenance and were GUESSING that would fix this problem. Shouldn't they KNOW?? So, I told them to go ahead and replace the battery and I caught a ride over to the dealer where I was handed my key, a $300 bill and drove off the lot to go home to the 24 horses who were hungry and waiting for my return and as soon as I drove off the lot, the truck broke down… How wonderful is that?? I turned the car around and brought it right back and as my luck would have it, they were closed. Luckily, I have absolutely great friends who let me borrow a car so I could get back home and leave my truck with Carl Burger to have a second swing at ACTUALLY fixing the problem this time. Fast forward TWO weeks later and they still had not found out what was wrong. After first telling me it was the computer, then a bunch of other countless guesses, it seemed they had given up on trying to find the problem. They had told me they test driven it multiple times (which they clearly had not done the first visit, making progress) and it had not shut down. I talked with them extensively about the high possibility of the problem being a short in the electrical system (given the signs) and the service advisor assured me his techs had been over the entire electrical circuit and had not found a thing. I was irate they had tried to convince me the problem was the battery and now were telling me they were not able to fix the problem. After having a discussion with the service manager, who I had been in contact with the entire length of my trucks visit, he agreed to give me a partial refund and send me on my not-so-merry way. I was so discouraged and had no idea where to go next. I did not want to drive my truck in fear I would be stranded or I would die in a fiery crash when it would shut itself down on the freeway with no power steering (i'm a paramedic so i've seen such things.) Looking for advice, I walked into the shop where we have our ambulances worked on and talked to one of the mechanics there who I had come to form a good working relationship with over the years. I told him about my trials and tribulations and asked him if he knew of anywhere I could take it specializing in electrical problems since he is the go-to electrical guy for the ambulances. He told me he would be happy to look at the problem for me and if for some reason he could't fix it, he could recommend a place where I could get the problem repaired. I left the truck with him and in two hours, after printing out the electrical circuit for that year and model Dodge, he had found the problem. It was a frayed wire that sat tight up against the harness and ran back down into the engine. It was so tight that the corner of the engine had rubbed through the electrical coating and now was into the wires causing it to short when pressure was put on it. Then, in another hour, the problem was fixed. This man has NEVER worked on a Dodge before and figured out the problem in a hot second when the DEALER had the truck for WEEKS. How is this possible?? This is THEIR product, they are supposed to be EXPERTS!! How come they could or did not do exactly what he did?? Not only did they not fix the problem, but they sold me random parts I did not need. I believe that is called fraud. The whole experience was absolutely unbelievable. To add a little more to the story, remember my wonderful friends I mentioned earlier? Well they had been looking to replace their old Jeep with a brand new one and had been to Carl Burger multiple times to 1. Do repairs on their old Jeep and 2. Shop for a new one. After hearing about the absolutely abysmal service I received there, they decided they would not give Carl Burger another penny of their money. So, they took their pocketbook to another Dodge dealer in the area and purchased themselves a brand new 2014 Limited Grand Cherokee. Because of their lack of customer service, Carl Burger has lost two customers and the sale of a brand new car. So in review, this is a horrible business and I would never recommend this to anyone. If I could give them ZERO stars if I had the option. More
