Hello Lonna, My name is Joyce McCarter and I am the Internet and Fleet Manager here at Cardinale Way Hyundai. I've come across your review and I wanted to reach out to you. I'm sorry I did not get a chance to meet with you yesterday and see if there was anything I could do to assist you. I know how it can be to have an experience elsewhere and be a little guarded going another dealership, expecting results. I apologize for the treatment you received from our service department. I understand your situation. From what I understand you wanted your vehicle to be looked at because the Check Engine light was on, after talking to a Service Manager you then wanted the General Manager because you were told you would have to pay $125. From the Results I got, They checked your vehicle for you, free of charge. Please correct me if i'm wrong. The reason to the Check Engine light was due to the Gas Cap not being fully on. I understand why you are upset though, you did not expect to have any money taken out of your pocket. As a Hyundai Service Dealer, they have to follow all rules specified from the manufacture and what is outlined as to what is covered and what is not and what fees are to be paid for a service. Please contact me if you would like at 951-271-3333. I just ask, we are a highly rated dealer and do try our very best to help all our customers.
