Jennifer personally inspected the car inside and out, confirmed everything was fine, and completed the deal. Two days later, they suddenly claimed there was a “smoke smell” and “tire issue” things they never mentioned during inspection and tried to void the sale after everything was finalized. They told me they were not going to pay off the loan and even dropped the car back off at my house without warning. If I had tried to return a car two days later, they would’ve laughed and told me to kick rocks yet they think it’s okay to do that to customers. Completely unprofessional and dishonest. I ended up selling the car to CarBeeco in Costa Mesa, who handled everything properly and picked up the car with zero issues. If you value integrity and professionalism, stay far away from this dealership and from Jennifer. More

I want to thank Rene Pena and the team of CardinalWay dealership, because he lead me to a path to get a car with great quality, reputation and great resell value. Thanks to Rene and his bait and switch tactics, I bought a Civic Honda Hybrid 2025 instead, and I couldnt be much happier. Over the phone, Rene Pena provided me with a price of $24,250 for a Hyundai Elantra hybrid (blue trim). He told me that he had it in the dealership. I had arranged an appointment to do a test drive. When I arrived at the dealership, he tells me that they dont have the Elantra with the trim that I requested (Blue trim). Rene did a bait and switch on me and tried to sell me a fully loaded Elantra that I didnt want. He also told me that in order to honor the sale price of $24,250 , I would have to spend $2000 on accessories, making the price of the car Elantra (blue trim) $26,000. Rene showed me that he does not respect the customer and he doesnt honor his word. I walked out of the dealership. He then tried to call me multiple times, to return to the dealership. After the shady tacticts that he pulled, I couldnt trust him anymore. he lost a customer for life. More
