Horrible to deal with, my recently purchased vehicle is missing an advertised feature and needs a new key and getting them to correct it has been like pulling teeth. I have to call for every update and it missing an advertised feature and needs a new key and getting them to correct it has been like pulling teeth. I have to call for every update and it has been two weeks and they haven't reached out to me unless I call. Still no gameplan or clear path forward. Save yourself the headache and go to a real dealer. More

This is the third vehicle I have purchased from Tupelo CarMax . No issues with the first two , but the third one was not good .paid to have the car shipped . Test drove the car and smelled brakes burning, so I said I wanted it checked . Salesperson promised they would call with an update the next day and never did , I had to call at 7pm and was told one of the techs had called in sick and the other one didnt have time to check it . I accept the answer , but poor customer service for not calling. The next day I get a text that the technician did not find any problems . I told the salesperson that answer was not acceptable , the salesperson smelled the burning brakes smell that night also . The car had brand new tires so I asked if maybe it was just new brake pads . The salesperson called a few minutes later and said the manager pulled the service records and yes new brakes . I said ok and came and drove the car again and didn’t smell anything . I purchased the car and took it to a reputable third party mechanic I have used for 20 years after my daughter said she smelled the brakes again . The mechanic said the rear calipers were sticking and that both rear brake pads were about 2/3 worn. I paid another 1000 for the new brakes and a transmission flush . Technically it would be covered under CarMax 30 day warranty , but I no longer trust them to fix the car after I was lied to . More

Honestly don’t believe they checked anything on my vehicle before selling it. Both battery key fobs were low, my tire pressure light was on, no gas was in the vehicle, there was a slit on one of my ti vehicle before selling it. Both battery key fobs were low, my tire pressure light was on, no gas was in the vehicle, there was a slit on one of my tires. I set a appointment to find out why the tire pressure light was on and at that time they said that I just needed new tires. I went back for a second time and got the new tires, on my way home the tire pressure light came back on, I live almost a hour away so it’s not easy to just get up and go to the dealership. I needed up taking it somewhere else and it was a bad tire sensor that I ended up having replaced. I’m not sure on why they didn’t check that in the beginning. I was also told at the time I purchased the vehicle that once i set my appiointment they could buff out the scratches that were all over the vehicle at that time. Well when i went the 1st time and they decided I needed new tires they told me that they would do it all when they replaced the tires. Once the tires were replaced i was told that there’s only one buffing guy and he’s on a late maternity leave. This is the second vehicle i’ve purchased here and the 1st expierence was very good. This time has been horrible. I was reimbursed for the gas i put in the vehicle since there was none in it at the time of purchase. More
