My purchase experience was different from any car purchase that I have experienced. I wasted almost 30 minutes waiting for the salesperson to come and take a test drive with me. After only 2 weeks after purchase the brakes started squealing and when I put the car in reverse or drive there was a rough take off. Come to find out the 120 Point Precheck was never completed. The brake pads, rotors, and motor mounts had to be replaced. I had to take my vehicle to Store#7115 on 11/14/25 for the repairs. I received no update on my vehicle until I called in, very poor communication. At that point I was advised that the tech that was working on my car had to leave, and I would have to come back on Monday. On Monday I took my car in and again received no communication until I reached out for status. I requested that my Lyft be requested at 4:50 that never happened. I finally got a Lyft at 5:40pm and arrived at the dealership after the service department was closed. This whole ordeal was horrible. I pray that it is a very long time until I have to return to this place!! More

I received excellent, EXCELLENT service from this location. I have bought 4 other Lexus vehicles from a well-known top rated Lexus dealership here in Dallas, Texas. I did not expect to receive anyt location. I have bought 4 other Lexus vehicles from a well-known top rated Lexus dealership here in Dallas, Texas. I did not expect to receive anything near that level of service from Car Max. Boy, was I surprised. Not only was the service excellent from start to finish, the vehicle looks and runs great I started with an on line application and the process was picked up by a phone representative who helped me complete the application. The appointment as set up for me to view the car and sign paperwork. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. I am sorry I don't have all the names.. I believe one young man was named Julian Digby. There was also an exceptional young lady who walked me through signing the paperwork. Super patient and knowledgeable. And everything was quick. I was able to get everything done and make it home before rush hour traffic. In conclusion may I say that the team that helped me with this vehicle was A plus plus plus. (The only regrettable thing is that they were unable to offer me gap insurance which I really wanted.) Overall I am so very pleased with the team that helped me with this purchase. Job well done! The process was extremely easy. I did the preapproval, and put my trade in, in online, and exactly what I was quoted, is exactly what I was given, whereas the Honda dealership in Fr I did the preapproval, and put my trade in, in online, and exactly what I was quoted, is exactly what I was given, whereas the Honda dealership in Frisco, quoted me $5k less than what CarMax gave me for my car. It was practically a walk in - walk out situation where I walked in with my car, traded it in and left with a new one! More
