This was my first time using Carmax and I had a really great experience. The staff were all friendly, there was no pressure or hassling or negotiating, and they made all the paperwork nice and easy. I brought my elderly mother with as a co-signer since she was on my pre-approval. At the end of the transaction, john in oak lawn said she didn't have to sign! A few days later I get a call from Sean, a mana was on my pre-approval. At the end of the transaction, john in oak lawn said she didn't have to sign! A few days later I get a call from Sean, a manager in oak lawn saying I and my mom need to come back to sign different documents with mom on the papers! In total, for one transaction for one vehicle, we sat in this dealership for approximately 8 hours, absolutely ridiculous. We bought the car on a Friday, had to return it on a Saturday, repurchased the same Saturday. I will never shop there again and will tell everyone I know not to shop there. More
