He is very knowledgeable of all his products and got us in the exact vehicle to fit our needs and "wants"! Lied to me saying the safety inspection was done. It was not! Sold me a Ford Edge with BALD tires. Dangerous BALD TIRES! Manger's all hide when I come in. I am driving around now with a BIG star on my truck from the Service Department saying "NEEDS TIRES" but the manager would not put them on!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP ... if you do BUYER BEWARE!!!! More
I have dealt with a lot of dealerships in my life and some were not so good. Some dealerships have salesmen who know little or nothing about their product. Kia of Nicholasville has salesmen who know their product inside and out. The salesman that I dealt with was Robert Harris and I was very satisfied at how much he knew about the product. There was no bull when buying the vehicle. I would recommend Kia and Mr. Harris to all my friends and family. More
He was very good at helping us get what we felt was the right price. He made many trips back and forth to talk to his manager, and he finally closed the deal. I spent 4 hours there purchasing a vehicle that they were going to have to bring in from another dealership. They didn't tell me from where. I was to pick up the next day. I had financing approved from my cr going to have to bring in from another dealership. They didn't tell me from where. I was to pick up the next day. I had financing approved from my credit union, got insurance on the vehicle, all ready to drive up to get it. My loan officer tried all day to reach them for a few missing pieces of key information. They wouldn't return my or her calls or emails. I have never seen anyone avoid making a sell. I finally got a call after 4pm from the finance manager telling me that he was sorry, but when they sent someone to pick up the car, it had been sold. I was irritated to say the least. I got on line, located the vehicle (same VIN) called the dealer to confirm they still had it, negotiated a sale over the phone which was $2,000 less. Drove to Cincy and picked up my new vehicle. The salesman from CarTown actually called when I was about to drive off with the car and when I told him where I was and what I was doing, and that I didn't appreciate being lied to, he tried to tell me that I was mistaken and that the other dealer had fabricated some kind of believable story. It was no story. The vehicle was indeed there, had not been sold, and the only people lying were those at Car Town Kia on Nicholasville. Cheaters, crooks, and liars. I have no use for them. Stay away!!! Other dealers have the same product for less. Much less. I went to Superior Kia in Cincinnati. They were great! I encourage you to do the same. More
I have been dealing with Cartown Kia since 2003, which means I have bought and traded in no less than 4 new vehicles. I have always been satisfied with the service I have received, especially from the se means I have bought and traded in no less than 4 new vehicles. As a matter of fact, the professional and excellent service department run by Evana and Johnny is one of the primary reasons I am a repeat customer. The service has been courteous, prompt and very fairly priced. I have had some very negative experiences with other dealers' service departments and until my dealings with KIA I would never take my car back to the dealer unless it was a recall and only for that reason. My Sorento is a great vehicle and I did not have to break the bank to get it from their garage to mine. Doing business with this company to date, has been a pleasure and I look forward to future dealings. More
I stopped by to look at the Optima. I was on my way out of town for two weeks and did not really have time to buy a car, just wanted to check prices, etc. It one of those, "what will it take for you to of town for two weeks and did not really have time to buy a car, just wanted to check prices, etc. It one of those, "what will it take for you to buy it today deals"!! We made a deal, but I had to wait for 3 hours before I got to fiance. I usually pay cash for a car, but decided to pay 4,000 down this time. By the time I got into finance I was so far behind schedule, we hurried the process. I thought I made it very clear that all I was willing to pay was the price agreed on plus tax and license. Dave increased the price, added gap insurance, documentary fee, service contract, plus select coverage and didn't say a word about it. I just checked the bottom line and it looked ok, I didn't realize that my down payment had already been deducted. I know I made a big mistake, can't believe I did it. I didn't realize what was done until I got back in town two weeks later. I have bought 14 new cars in my life and this is the first time, I really felt con, and cheated. I will never buy another KIA or deal with Car Town Kia in the future. More
The new Kia Spectra that I bought had to be taken back to the dealership a dozen times for the air conditioning unit. I felt as though I was getting the run around. While waiting in the service waiting room the last time I was there and saw the service person come in with all of this other lady's belts from her engine in his hand telling her that they needed to be replaced. She was only there for an oil change. I would not recommend this dealership, but especially the service department to anyone. More
