I called this dealer today ready to purchase a vehicle that I saw on cars.com and their website. I spoke with a sales lady, on the phone which I believe was Jessica. She asked where I was living, such as that I saw on cars.com and their website. I spoke with a sales lady, on the phone which I believe was Jessica. She asked where I was living, such as Miami or Palm Beach, and I replied Hawaii. She told me the car was in stock. I told her to send me a purchase order and wire transfer details. She then informed me that the owner of her dealership does not accept cash, and that if I wanted to make a purchase I had to finance. So.....I have not financed a car in many years, and I am not interested in doing that. It seems like some sort of scam or way to make more money off of people. Sucks! Oh well......I bought a MOAB from a different dealer who does take cash. Their loss!!! More
They have a car listed at online on multiple verified websites for a great price. Once I went into the store they then told me it was going to be about 10k over what they have it listed at. They have ter websites for a great price. Once I went into the store they then told me it was going to be about 10k over what they have it listed at. They have terrible customer service and the are falsely advertising there cars. I would never give them any business. More
Company is a total scam. They don’t have the cars there that they advertise at very low prices.I called about 2 bmw’s to see if they were still available and were told they were and I would like to test d that they advertise at very low prices.I called about 2 bmw’s to see if they were still available and were told they were and I would like to test drive them. When I got there l was told the cars were at the Hollywood location. But I had an appointment here to test drive both of them here in WPB.I asked to see the sales manager who was being yelled at by a woman who drove a long way and wanted to know where the car was she came to buy. While I was waiting for him l asked the salesman how much a bmw in front of us on the lot was and said he would have to ask the manager for the price.Very weird. Then the manager said he would help explain everything. Now he said both cars were not in Hollywood anymore for a test drive unfortunately they were sold Kind of hard to test drive cars that don’t exist. Both the salesman and manager looked like a deer caught in headlights. They did not even try to show me any other vehicles they l might be interested in they were so embarrassed .Cars.com, Auto Trader etc should ban Car Factory from their website’s for fraudulent and unethical practices More
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DECEPTIVE ADS AND PRACTICES!!! The 2020 Ford Escape was listed on their website at $17,491. When I got to the dealership, I was told that price reflected a 20% down payment. You had to 2020 Ford Escape was listed on their website at $17,491. When I got to the dealership, I was told that price reflected a 20% down payment. You had to click on the small print on the site which said “View Payment Disclaimer” under the price to find this. So the actual price of the car was $21,863. The dealership advertises that the car comes with a “Lifetime Warranty.” You actually have to pay $899 for an Inspection Fee which activates the warranty with repairs available only at their dealership. They claim no Dealer Fees. I was also asked to pay a Reconditioning Fee of $770, a Transportation Charge of $995, a Certification Fee of $799. They wanted to charge $149 battery disposal fee (actual state fee is $1.50), $50 County Tax (there is none.), $574 for registration, title and tags which cost $174 per the Martin County Tax Collector. You also have to pay additional sales tax on all those fees. Bottom line, the $17,491 car would cost me just under $29,000. I would never have wasted 5 hours of my time and driven 90 miles had I known. More
