Polite and professional from phone call to set service appointment to the pickup. Greater at the service door on time. Scheduled and picked up by dealer-paid rental car. Services done quickly. Yes, some appointment to the pickup. Greater at the service door on time. Scheduled and picked up by dealer-paid rental car. Services done quickly. Yes, some costs are premium, but all-in-all... worth it. Would recommend to anyone needing service on their Toyota vehicle. If their sales are anything like their service department, I'd definitely consider Capital Toyota for a new vehicle purchase. More
The problem I went in for turned out to be covered by warranty. That part was fine. They did an oil change and replaced a damaged tire while they had the car. That part was fine. What was not fine was ge warranty. That part was fine. They did an oil change and replaced a damaged tire while they had the car. That part was fine. What was not fine was getting a call the day after I took it to the dealership that a rat had been found in my car, that they'd have to catch/kill it, then do a damage assessment before the warranty work could be done. I was advised to get a rental car, that it was unknown when the car would be ready. I called my insurance to see about coverage for animal damage. Learned that some rodent damage can be very severe. Called the dealership a couple of times to try to find out about the extent of the rodent damage. Got no answers. When I went to pick up the car, after the warranty work, tire replacement and oil change, asked again about the rodent situation. They asked and found out some other Prius in their work area was the one with the rodent problem, not my car after all. While I was very relieved (and sorry for the other Prius owner), the misinformation about my car having a rodent in it led to several days of worrying and wondering how much damage had occurred. Happily, I had not gotten a rental car. 8-/ More
