I am sorry that you felt your experience was such a nightmare. I am not sure what we could have done differently to accommodate you better, apart from the fact that we were busy, and I do not think we had you checked in in a timely manner. That took longer than it should have. I would like anyone reading this review to have an accurate portrayal of both sides of this review, as they can tend to be somewhat one sided. In order to recap, you came in late in the afternoon without a scheduled appointment, which is perfectly fine with us, and we wrote up your vehicle to have two keys cut and programmed. My service advisor quoted you the price to cut and program two keys which you had already purchased, and gave you an expected wait time of 1.5 hours prior to your vehicle going in the shop. Both of which you approved. The service was completed as quoted, and was actually finished in about 1 hour, a little ahead of schedule. You called back in the next day to complain that we somehow damaged your gear shifter on your 2000 Ford F-150 with approximately 146,000 miles on it. To be clear, in order to cut and program keys we do not have to do anything mechanically to your vehicle in any way. We did not disturb the gearshift or anything else for that matter, so we could not have damaged it. My service manager happened to be the person who went out and drove your truck inside from the parking lot to the technician, and she told you when you spoke on the phone that she experienced difficulty shifting in and out of park at that time. Had we damaged your vehicle I would be happy to fix it. However, in doing my due diligence to investigate this review, I pulled the camera footage of your vehicle being pulled into the service drive. You had given the keys to my service advisor to take the vehicle from the parking space in front of the building, and he pulled it to the check in area. I can see on the video when he stops at the check in area in the service drive, that he has difficulty getting the gear shift back into park. I can also hear on the video that he quotes you the price and wait time which you signed off on at the truck. I see that this was your first time at our dealership, and I am sorry that you were not happy with your experience. I am just not certain that we can meet the level of service you seem to expect, and I am not certain that there is a dealership out there that would in this given situation. Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business; we will be here if you need us again in the future. If so, hopefully next time it will be under better circumstances.
