Great service I was having a blind spot sensor issue. They got me a loaner car, and checked everything out, even checked fluids and tires etc. I was sent a video by I was having a blind spot sensor issue. 20K Service and RD 24 ECM Recall Lamentably, the industry is so sensitive to so-called emission standards that they have implemented a "One Size Fits All" Detuning for 575,000 VW Vehi Lamentably, the industry is so sensitive to so-called emission standards that they have implemented a "One Size Fits All" Detuning for 575,000 VW Vehicles. Since our vehicle was one of sixteen created in 2017......we feel slighted a bit. If in fact we had a Emission or Check Light issue....it should have been assessed at the time it happened. Since our vehicle was running perfectly when we took it in, we found the low end torque, off idle response and worst of all, the leaning out has resulted in limited power at high RPM. This fix may have been fine for 174HP Passant, but certainly not for our R-Line 2017 Bug. Our mileage has gone down from 26.8 and up to 29.6 to 23.8 and 24.2. So we are left without our poser range - shift points that have been changed and the off idle response limited and very dangerous at freeway speeds. Our belief is that we need a ONE OFF software repair to bring it back to the original performance standard. Either that or a replacement of both the ECM and TCM to bring it back to the expected performance we enjoyed for 20,000 miles. More
