This was my first time to purchase a car from a dealership. They made me feel like I was their number one customer. Laura who works with financial end, she got me approved when no other dealership dealership. They made me feel like I was their number one customer. As soon as I came in no one was pushy about buying a car. I would highly recommend this dealership because they do treat you like family and will do what ever they can for you. Dave made sure my car was ready for me to drive off in, Laura assured me that everything was going to work out. To the Kesel family, thank you for making me feel like a million dollars. Began looking for a Jeep in October, went to several dealers and spoke with current owners about models/available options etc. Visited Canandaigua Jeep and spoke with Salesman James Aliavela. I explained that I was looking to purchase a Jeep, however I was still looking at options, and due to budget scheduling I was not looking to make any purchase until April. I test drove several models, and explored available options. James was great to deal with, not once did he attempt to pressure me, nor even suggest that I purchase the vehicle earlier than I had planned. In February I sat with James and spec'ed a vehicle. James went through the list item by item, and assited in builing the vehicle I wanted, with the options I chose. At several points during the process I spoke with Matt the Sales Manager. Matt on several occasions offered his opinion regarding certain options, and several times steared me toward a less expensive option than I had chosen or inquired about. I had the priced spec sheet and compared the cost on line with several pricing sites (Edmonds, TruePrice, etc). My quoted price was listed as "Great Price" or similar by these sites which actually show dealer cost, manufacturer price, MSRP, etc. I ordered the vehicle, and it arrived about four weeks later. James called the day it arrived and had it waiting for me that afternoon. Pick up, paperwork and delivery were all effortless. Great experience from the start. Not even close to your sterio-typical car salesmen. No hassle, no pressure, pleasurable experience from start to finish. Will be purchasing additional vehicles from this dealership! More
I came here with the intention of buying a brand new Dodge Journey. I was bounced around from person to person because the initial person I was put into contact with was also in charge of the service de Dodge Journey. I had a vehicle that I was trading in, they offered me $3,000 lower than what I was offered at other dealerships. When I commented how it wasn't a reasonable offer the gentleman went into a speech about how used cars are what makes them money and a lot of other nonsense. They were not even willing to discuss the price of the Journey (which had already been sitting on their lot for 6 months) and basically just turned down the sale right away based off my trade. In the end it worked in my favor, I got a brand new Journey with more options for cheaper than their "friends of the family" pricing. The dealership that I ended up buying from was thrilled to have my vehicle on their lot and already had potential buyers (these people were interested in my trade while we were there buying the Journey). I purchased my vehicle from Canandaigua Chrysler, they offered me what they call family and friends pricing, and free pick up and delivery service. I went to another dealership in town and they did not have the seem to know much of anything about the different vehicles I was comparing. They really helped me make a good decision. I will definitely be going back there when my husbands truck is ready to be replaced. More
