Actual diagnosis and work done was good. .... My problem was the running lights on the right rear quit working although the brake & signal lights did work. However.....The cost should h .... My problem was the running lights on the right rear quit working although the brake & signal lights did work. However.....The cost should have been covered under my Ford extended warranty (FBA Gold), minus my 100 dollar deductible. I was told however that the service manager would not submit the claim to warranty because "it looked like someone had been into the wiring". I told the person on the phone that the tail light had been replaced because it had water inside, but no-one has worked on the wiring. I was asked "if we had done the replacement". I told whoever I talked to that "no, Campbell Ford did not replace the tail light". The light worked properly for over a month AFTER the replacement, and THEN stopped working. The tech said a pin or pins were loose in the connection plug where the tail light wire harness plugs into the body wiring harness plug. How could this not be a warranty issue if the mere act of unplugging and then plugging in the wiring harness caused a pin to come loose. AND.... on the bill there were 68 dollars for shop supplies. How can a couple of plug connector pins cost 68 dollars in anyone's universe? I was overcharged for something that should have been covered under my Ford FBA Gold extended warranty. More
