I just bought the CT5 from this dealership. The service was very good. The salesperson Iris was very knowledgeable and provided me all the information on the car and how to use it. She walks with me step by step the functions, and more important I came back several times for some extra information and Iris was very helpful each time I came back. I got good deal on my old car, probably as good as I can get. The gave me also a good deal on my new car. Overall, the process was relatively easy, no push to buy extra and the written contract was exactly as promised. One small thing. This car as many other cars has no spare tire or sealer kit (which in my opinion is useless anyway). More
We are an elderly couple living in a different state. In 2021 We had shipped to us a 2012 Mercedes S550 with 59 498 miles on it. Upon delivery the car was making a loud noise. We contacted the broker who found the car for us. He did not answer but did call later. He seemed concerned and said we should contact the bank that financed it. My husband immediately took the car to the Mercedes Benz dealership the next day. He was informed that the car needed a new motor at the estimated cost of $66 400.16. We contacted the dealership and they asked us to take it to an Independent repair shop and we did. The dealership was communicating directly with the repair shop. The dealership said that the repair shop had fixed the problem and they had been paid. Additionally, Silver Star advised the bank who financed the car of this.However, it was still making the same noise. The dealership ship told the bank that the car was an older vehicle and was bought "AS IS" The Mercedes dealership had diagnosed the car correctly. The dealership paid us for having the car diagnosed. We are two 72 year old people who have spent nearly $20,000 to replace an engine in a car that never should have been sold and we still have a car note. SHAME ON SILVER STAR!!!! More

Bought a brand new Cadillac Escalade ESV from this dealer has been having problems since the first few months we got it. We’ve been taking it to get maintenance with all the issues it’s been having and we always have problems with them. But this time was the worst thing so far we took it and asked for a rental car which they said they would provide and they said we could get it at a rental place closer to our house. We go to the rental place they told us and we were told that we couldn’t rent a car even with the slip for a rental that the dealership provided us. We have called them multiple times and no answer. It’s Friday today meaning my family and I will have to be without a car for at least the whole weekend and then until they decide to answer or we have to drive all the way up there. This is a horrible dealership that has no word and lies to your face for their convenience even if it means leaving you without being able to drive anywhere because they lied about where you could pick up a rental car. But like I said this isn’t the first time they have done something like this to us. They have told us for a service it would only take 2-3 days and it took 11 days and not only that but it’s been two weeks and the issues we were having never stopped meaning they didn’t do any maintenance to it!!! This time they also made it sooo difficult to get a rental and imagine not being able to go out for anything for what turned out to be 11 days!!!! More

A couple of weeks ago I went searching for a 2019 Cadillac XT4 to purchase. While pricing some lightly-used models, I decided to see if there were any new 2019s still on lots anywhere – doubtful in January 2021, but why not take a look? Sure enough there were a handful out there. One stood out: a new 2019 at Silver Star Cadillac that had been reduced $20K from MSRP to $26K, which was about $8K less than the other few still out there. I have a sister who lives in the LA area. One-way flights to LA were $90 from where I live on the East Coast. I like to travel. I like road trips. The value was such that I decided it would be fun to purchase this vehicle, fly out, visit my sister, and drive home. I contacted the dealership via email & got a response via text from Krystal Cannon on a Sunday. After asking to make sure the warranty would begin on day of purchase & getting confirmation of that, I texted Monday morning expressing a desire to move forward with the purchase. I received no response to that text, so Tuesday morning I called the dealership. I spoke with Carlos Clemente, who gave me instructions on filling out the application online. I did so, and added a few optional items to the vehicle that took the price to $29K. I completed the application along with my wife. It went through. After that, it asked if I wanted to download my license, etc, to expedite pickup. As I did this, the online portal kicked me out. When I went to sign back on, my application was gone – yet I received a notification from my credit card company that a hard run was performed on my credit by Silvee Star. So it was received. When I called Mr. Clemente regarding this, he said it wasn’t in there. I told him that I was given confirmation from my CC company that my credit was in fact run. He denied it was done at the dealership. Later Tuesday evening, he proceeded to spend an hour on the phone with me, talking sports because I had been a sports journalist & he was a sports fan. The only time spent regarding the car was a request I send in a manual credit application. I did so. Wednesday I received no response from Mr. Clemente when I requested an update. Thursday morning I finally received a text from Krystal Cannon, asking if I were still interested in the Cadillac (this is four days after the last time I heard from her). I told her, yes, that Mr. Clemente had been working with me. Ms. Cannon stated that Mr. Clemente was off Thursdays, but he would be in Friday. I told her we just wanted to confirm financing ASAP, because we were flying out to pick up the vehicle. She asked if I live in New Jersey. I said yes. She asked if I could verify the address. I did. Ms. Cannon responded: “Yes just want to verify the car is 10k off msrp and how much down are you guys doing?” Please note she did not state a specific price. When I pulled up the vehicle online, the price has suddenly been changed to $36K. I called Ms. Cannon, who first denied the vehicle had ever been $26K, then blamed an error. At no point did she attempt to apologize, or negotiate in good faith the price. I told her my credit had taken a hit because of this application based on their listed price, for which I agreed to apply for purchase. There was zero empathy. The phone call ended with complete indignation from Ms. Cannon regarding the dealership’s culpability. I sent Mr. Clemente a text requesting a call from him with an explanation. He claimed complete ignorance regarding any of this & stated he was not involved with the sale. (Reminder: this was the person who gave me instructions for applying & spent nearly an hour on the phone with me at dinnertime for idle sports chat). In conclusion, I want to say this: car dealerships get a bad rap in general. This is why. It’s always a gamble as to whether a dealership is going to be a solid, fair partner in a car sale. But I can tell you, this dealership is not worth taking that gamble with. More

I have dealt with over a dozen staff members at Silver Star Cadillac and everyone is absolutely outstanding! Leigh, Alex and Frank in sales are simply top notch! They roll out the red carpet for me and other customers. I have witnessed this while I was shopping for a new Cadillac. While I was purchasing my new Cadillac, I just watched the overall sales operation in action and I saw firsthand the red carpet treatment that was given to other customers. They really go the extra mile for everyone who visits the showroom. I will be coming back again and again for a new Cadillac. When it comes to our Cadillac's service needs, I wouldn't dream of visiting any other dealership. Chris Williams, the service director is absolutely the nicest guy you will ever hope to meet. He is helpful, friendly, professional and goes out his way to ensure that I am fully satisfied. Chris knows his stuff too when it comes to Cadillacs as well. He is a hands on technical wiz! Thank you Chris for always being there for us and for always helping! Jarrod, our service advisor is simply fantastic! I have been going to Jarrod since 2013 and he is the ONLY service advisor I will go to! He goes the extra mile to help and gets our vehicles serviced perfectly! Thank you, Jarrod for everything you always do for us! I can't rave about Jarrod enough! Jarrod ranks among the best of the best and he is a pleasure to deal with! Last, but certainly not least, I wanted to commend and recognize Meghan for everything she always does for us. One phone call to Meghan takes care of everything from arranging a loaner vehicle to getting my appointment for service placed. Meghan gets me in quickly and gets me into a loaner and I couldn't be more thankful! Thank you, Meghan for always being so wonderful to deal with! Meghan is a great asset at Silver Star! As everyone can tell, the entire staff at Silver Star is simply industry leading and there is no better out there! I have visited enough Cadillac dealers over the last twenty years to know that Silver Star is my home for life! Again, a big thank you to everyone at Silver Star! Came here to see the new Escalade. Salesperson was very helpful. When we tried to order a 2021 Escalade we were told that there would be a $10k markup over sticker:....because they think they can. Complete Lack of Customer Service I am so disappointed with my first experience with this dealer. I recently moved to Simi Valley from Washington State. The lease was ending on my 2017 I am so disappointed with my first experience with this dealer. I recently moved to Simi Valley from Washington State. The lease was ending on my 2017 ATS and Silver Star was the nearest dealer to my new home. I spoke with the Finance Manger Joe Norkewicz on Sunday 9-February to schedule an appointment. Mr. Norkewicz indicated that they may not be able to take the return due to it being leased from another dealer and that it was from out of state. He said that he would have to speak with someone the next day Monday 10-February) and would get back to me then. After not receiving a call on Monday, I tried calling several times and left multiple messages with zero response from him. I gave up after 5 days and called GM Finance directly for assistance. This complete lack of follow-through is simply not acceptable from any business. Let alone from Cadillac. Apparently, Mr. Norkewicz couldn't be bothered to take 5 minutes out of his day to provide me with an answer. Obviously, my time and business are not important. I will take my second car, a 2107 CTS, for service elsewhere. I will never set foot in their dealership nor will I recommend them to my friends or family. What a lost opportunity. More

Problem solved! I purchased a brand new 2019 Cadillac XT5 which unfortunately had some problems with it. Sven Sjodin (General Sales Manager) was kind enough to offer I purchased a brand new 2019 Cadillac XT5 which unfortunately had some problems with it. Sven Sjodin (General Sales Manager) was kind enough to offer to buy the vehicle back from us. The car is fine now and is a dream to drive! Silver Star Cadillac stands by its cars, the Cadillac brand and its reputation for excellence. Will definitely be a repeat customer! More
