Liars cheaters scammers BE AWARE THIS DEALERSHIP WILL SCAM YOU!!! We traded in our Escalade ESV at the end of our lease term to a new 2018 Ecalade ESV on August 26, 2018. BE AWARE THIS DEALERSHIP WILL SCAM YOU!!! We traded in our Escalade ESV at the end of our lease term to a new 2018 Ecalade ESV on August 26, 2018. After hours of negotiating with the sales manager SVEN SJODIN about the over mileage into the deal he made the deal happened! In the deal everything was calculated all of our over mileage including some wear and tear on the returned vehicle which he estimated at $150, we also upgraded our new lease to 15K a year. We got the new car and we drove off. On October 31 2018, we received a bill from US Bank with all termination fees that we owed for the returned lease, in the bill is the FULL AMOUNT for over the mileage including tax and $500 for wear and tear. BUT the upgrade for 15k was nicely calculated into the deal! We said to ourselves it must be a mistake! Mr. SJODIN was negotiating the deal for hours!! We just couldn’t agree on a lease price that would include the over mileage and the wear and tear cost! Why would he choose cheat us like that??? A big dealership such as Silver Star in the AUTO MALL will cheat their customers like that!?!? So we first called SVEN SJODIN General Sales Manager since he is the one that prepared, approved and submitted the deal, we left numerous messages trying to reach him, but he never called us back he kept ignoring our calls. We then called GM corporate office to complain and they said to wait three days for someone to get back to us, during the three days, all of the sudden SVEN SJODIN General Sales Manager decided to call us back! He said right away that the over mileage wasn’t included in our deal and that we don’t have it in writing…., we got so mad when he was trying to play dumb then he started saying you guys can’t do anything I never put it in writing! Right there we realized it was all planned out! That was his plan to seal the deal and scam us with the over mileage!! Today we spoke to the corporate office again about their dealership scam THEY SUGGESTED TO PUT AN ONLINE COMPLAINT ABOUT SILVER STAR CADILLAC IN THOUSAND OAKS! Can you believe it?!?! They suggested to go complain at Better Business Bureau about this Cadillac dealership!! So that’s what I’m doing!!!! I will post bad review and share my story in many places possible!! Now I’m stuck with $4709 bill with no one taking responsibility! Just unbelievable! I’ve traded so many cars in my lifetime with many dealerships….I was never cheated and lied while signing a car lease, let along from such a big dealership! Take my word don’t do business with this dealership they are scam artists!!!! More

After sending them the money, they sent a purchase agreement written up on a financing form suggesting we were financing the car. Wrong! They even tried to force me to let them run my credit when I was paying cash for the car. But most troubling, the agreement included a mandatory arbitration provision. For those of you not familiar with them, these provisions effectively mean that you are waiving any right to sue the dealer if they screw up. They require binding arbitration with an arbitrator that the dealer gets to select. In other words, they get to pick their own judge. That is why many consumer protection groups have been trying to get them outlawed. When my daughter went to pick up the car, Rick told her she had to sign the arbitration provision. I talked to Rick who told me that California requires all dealers to have mandatory binding arbitration. A complete lie! I am an attorney, so not really a smart thing to say to me. I told him that was 100% incorrect, as these are tools of the dealerships, not state law. So he took it up to his sales manager,Harry . The guy was a complete jerk, refused to sell the car without an agreement to binding arbitration, and claimed he had no supervisor who could be consulted with to check his decision. I told my daughter to walk away. Cash in the bank, and they won't sell you a car unless you give up all of your consumer rights. Very disturbing! Do not use this dealer or any other dealer who follows this shady and deceptive practice! More

Don't fall in the trap of the arrogant and insulting Sales Manager's sales pitch. I went to Nasir Khan (Sales manager at Silver Star Cadillac ) twice. One time back in 2010 and one more time at the end Sales Manager's sales pitch. I went to Nasir Khan (Sales manager at Silver Star Cadillac ) twice. One time back in 2010 and one more time at the end of my Esclade's lease term in 2013(the Escalde that i finally bought it from another dealer). In 2010 he refused to give me a quote on a Premium Package Esclade or even telling me what offer are available by saying that his customer service is distinctive from other dealers in southern California and he could not help me with any services, I am sure the only reason that he came up with this sales pitch was that I told him I was looking for the best deal, but the amazed by his dummy sales pitch which was so insulting he refused to give a quote or show the car to me because he wanted to charge me more than the other dealers for his alleged customer services which I believe it was because of his noncompetitive offers. I wrote him up to Cadillac in the hope that they could take care of this situation, but after three years I went there again to get a quote on a new ESV Esclade Premium package he brought up the same excuses that his services is extraordinary. If you are really looking for a reasonable deal don't waste your time by going to this dealership. By a little bit shopping around in Valley or LA you can find the best deal with all services that he rediculously he thinks are extraordinary such as free car wash or detail. But i don't think his services worth $6,000 to $8,000 difference in purchase price under the MSRP that you can ask from other dealers, but not him. More

I absolutely love my new XTS. This is my first Cadillac but it definately won't be my last. The entire experience has been great from my first test drive to the day of purchase. I originally planned on buy but it definately won't be my last. The entire experience has been great from my first test drive to the day of purchase. I originally planned on buying a Lexus but decided to check out the new Cadillac before making my decision. Frankie took me for my test drive. He was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable about every aspect of the car. He was extremely patient explaining the technology and CUE. He told me I could come in for as many refresher courses as I needed; never making me feel incompetent as a women who isn't real high-tech. Silver Star is a great dealership with nice people, including the guys that wash my car weekly, they always have a smile. Thanks again Frankie for making my first Cadillac experience a great one. Best car buying experience I have ever had; and I have definitely had my fair share of new cars...Between Frankie and Nasir, I was very well taken care of. Very knowledgeable, friendly and patient...I st definitely had my fair share of new cars...Between Frankie and Nasir, I was very well taken care of. Very knowledgeable, friendly and patient...I stumbled into Cadillac because I saw the new ATS, I have never seen one before and it caught my eye...I met Frankie, we went on a test drive, and I must say, Frankie is the reason I switched to Cadillac from BMW...He was so knowledgeable about every aspect of the car, esp the technology and CUE, patient and basically an expert on the vehicles...I was sold at that point; this was after test driving Mercedes and BMW same day. Great group of people at Silver Star...Even after the purchase, they have been there for me. Thanks guys, very happy with my experience and new ATS!!! More
