George & Kim were very helpful. I was at Gateway Hyundia to inquire about leasing a vehicle after being the victim of a rear-end collision, and my car was termed "totaled." I inquired about leasing an Accent and while there on Sunday, they told me I could lease an Elantra for a monthly payment very similar to the Accent. I went back on Monday (Columbus Day) with my son to look at the cars and to get an understanding about leasing a vehicle. There were many cars available and many colors to choose from, so they brought many cars to the front of the business for me to see. When I chose one to test drive, George took my son and me to a neighborhood so I could drive the car in a quiet area. I chose a car with interior and exterior colors to my liking and am pleased with the choice. This was a good experience as we were treated with patience and our questions were answered fully with understanding. Other employees, the financial person and cashier, were courteous and friendly. I did not rate "Quality of Work" as I am thinking this pertains to work in the Service Department. More
I purchased a 2013 Azera from James Coleman at Gateway Hyundai a few weeks ago in September. I was very pleased with my car buying experience in September 2013 when James sold me a 2013 Sonata. Because I was so impressed with the quality of the Sonata, I decided to go back to Gateway to talk with James about test driving an Azera. During the test drive, James was very knowledgeable about the features of the Azera and provided excellent customer service going above and beyond to make sure all of my questions were answered. His friendly demeanor and non-aggressive approach to price negotiation made the usually stressful car buying experience quite enjoyable. Not only did James ensure I receive all available Hyundai incentives, including the military incentive, he also made sure I received a good price on my trade-in. I have already told my friends that if they are in the market to buy a new or used car they should stop by Gateway to meet with James Coleman. More
My wife and I walked into Gateway Hyundai not looking forward to dealing with the dreaded "salesmen". As we went in to talk to someone about their new cars, the door opened and I met James Coleman. Turns forward to dealing with the dreaded "salesmen". As we went in to talk to someone about their new cars, the door opened and I met James Coleman. Turns out, James was all we needed! He grabbed the keys to the vehicle we were asking about and in about 10 mins, we were taking our test drive. James worked with us (thru his lunch I suspect) in trying to come to terms on our trade in and new car sale. Not once did he look flustered (or hungry) while working with us. Long Story Short, Brain was an amazing person to work with! He follows through with what he says. And works very hard to stay within your budget and to give you what you need. I came car shopping on a whim, after a 2.5 hr softball practice w/ 13-yr old girls. Whew!!. The Elantra has always peaked my interest. I looked at the Kia Soul and Forte first. But my gut was with the practice w/ 13-yr old girls. Whew!!. The Elantra has always peaked my interest. I looked at the Kia Soul and Forte first. But my gut was with the Elantra. We were proposed an ok deal @ Kia, but we were looking for something better. I didn't feel that rapport with the dealer/dealership @ Kia (no disrespect to them). There just wasn't that connection or sense of ease/comfort. Then I walked to Gateway and met James. He was so very personable and pleasant. He wasn't on the back of my heels. I instantly felt the release of anxiety and pressure. He understood my situation as a single parent and that I was making a huge family decision for my 13-yr old and myself. He knew I wanted the safest, most economical vehicle, that didn't need to be loaded with tons of bells/whistles, something with a little sassiness, and a vehicle that would fit my budget. On our test drive, I even learned a bit of history about Snake Road and the pumpkin field. Call me old school, but I call it character. James kept his word that he could do better than the other dealership and he DELIVERED. He knew I was on a tight schedule and there was no running back and forth. We both had business to take care of and it was done. While all the details were being finalized, James and I shared stories of baseball, the Army, and the common factor he and my father were both stationed in Germany. James helped gather my personal things out of my vehicle and into my new Elantra. He helped me sync my cell phone to the car's Bluetooth. He wouldn't let me leave until it was synched. My experience with buying a car @ Gateway was awesome. Everyone was attentive, personable and they SMILED :) But I must give all the credit to James. You rocked it, James. A friend had talked with him a few months previously and liked him so she had given me his card. I was driving a 2010 Elantra and was interested in a new model. After a few rough years, I had built my credit up and was hoping to buy a new car in the next few months. Joe was extremely helpful, I felt no pressure whatsoever, and left with a new 2013 Elantra. Joe was awesome to work with and I will refer anyone interested in a Hyundai to him with no hesitation! The Financing was a breeze and they worked with me too to find a number I could live with. More
