Whenever we had questions he was quick to answer and the few that he didn't know off the top of his head he was sure to look up to get the correct information. Price negotiations were straightforward and it was clear CJ worked hard to get us the car in our price range, even going above and beyond advising me of the recent college grad program to help get better financing. The only real down side was the wait time was a bit long while getting the pricing sorted out. Overall it was a wonderful experience and they really should pay CJ more, he was simply fantastic. More

Great experience I bought my previous Mazda 6 at Byers a few years ago and it was a great experience, so when I started thinking about looking at new cars I went back I bought my previous Mazda 6 at Byers a few years ago and it was a great experience, so when I started thinking about looking at new cars I went back to Byers. I really just wanted to test drive a new Mazda CX 5 and both me and my husband said we were not going to buy anything that same day. Joey helped us with our test drive. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car. He offered to have my car appraised for trade in and run the numbers so I could see what my payment would be. Joey was not pushy at all and was a pleasure to work with. We walked away to think about it, but ended up back at the dealership an hour or so later to purchase my new CX5. Overall, both of my experiences buying a car at Byers has been great. My husband already said "when I'm ready to look for a new car I'm going to go see Joey". More

He really made my (first) car buying experie I highly recommend going to Joey Powell at Byers Mazda! Joey was such an amazing and knowledgable dealer! He really made my (first) car buying experience so easy. Especially because he made himself available via his cell for any questions I had and was very prompt with his responses. I was very indecisive but he was patient with me. My boyfriend and I went to other dealerships where the salesman only really spoke to my boyfriend, but what set Joey apart was that he spoke to both me and him, something my boyfriend appreciated since I would be the one driving the car. Something else that set Joey apart from other dealers is that he was honest in his responses and was not pushy at all. He advised me on which features I would really need for the car based on what my primary/daily tasks were. But also advised against some features I didn't need. He was also very personable, but remained professional. We made sure to buy the car from Joey only and kept in touch with him to ensure we purchased from him. I'm loving my new CX5! Thanks Joey! He helped us find exactly what we wanted and in our price range. Joey brought high energy and knowledge about the product to the table. He actually made the car buying experience fun. We recently received a hand written thank you note from him in the mail. I don't know about you, but I'm an old fashioned kind of guy and feel that hand written notes are a lost art.
