Scam Artists. I bought a used car for over $7,000, two weeks later I got stranded in Kentucky when the car broke down. I had to spend over $800 to get it fixed and they wouldn't help at all. Two months la weeks later I got stranded in Kentucky when the car broke down. I had to spend over $800 to get it fixed and they wouldn't help at all. Two months later, less than 3 months after the purchase, I started having problems again, I took the car to 3 places and got quotes for the work, replacing head gaskets, water pump and timing belt all around $2,000. When I took the car back to Byers they said that they would help me out and 'not turn their back on me' what that really meant is that they qouted the work at nearly $2,700, which did not include timing belt or water pump. and discounted it a couple hundred dollars. Never buy a car from these people they will turn their back on you. One of the worst experiences of my life. More
I visited the Parts department to get a part I was unable to locate anywhere else. The employees in the parts department were very knowledgable and freindly. They got the correct part and had it installed to locate anywhere else. The employees in the parts department were very knowledgable and freindly. They got the correct part and had it installed on the spot! I would highly recommend this dealership. More
So I bought my R last March...1st issue is this problem. I bought it from a dealship (Byers Imports-Columbus). I also spent money on a extended warranty. Turns out the problem is the (probably wrong name) i I bought it from a dealship (Byers Imports-Columbus). I also spent money on a extended warranty. Turns out the problem is the (probably wrong name) is the charge-recharge wire and the fuse box it runs to ..they both fried, close to fire(I thought I smelled sumthing) So I get it towed at a premium(lowered) to Byers-160.00. The diagnosis is as described. They tell me that all surrounding parts are covered(alt, starter, ignition ect.) but this wire is not. As a result:The tow isn't covered as the 2 parts 150.00 each. This wire requires the intake manifold to be removed and labor runs at 540.00-Now we are talking about a grand instead of my 200.00 deductible So I talk to the person that sold me the warranty and did all the paperwork on the "deal"- he tells me I am not covered. I tell him they SOLD me the entire electric coverage ,because after all its a Dub. This dealer sells Audis-Porches-Jags-Subs-Vols and more. I have been in touch w/their (seriously) outstanding Service Manager of the whole joint...Eric Friend really an outstanding guy,but he's handcuffed by sales and Cost Guard. So to put a point on this...I found the G.M. of the group-Kevin King, very professional & interested, met with him unscheduled, and he contacted all parties involved and made good on the repair. This restores my faith in mankind (to a degree) Big Kudos to Byers Imports, Eric & Kevin for really doing the right thing!!!!! Mike More
I live in Wyoming but found the car I wanted on their lot. After negotiating the deal via the telephone over a couple days, we made an agreement. About five days later I picked up the car. It was everyth lot. After negotiating the deal via the telephone over a couple days, we made an agreement. About five days later I picked up the car. It was everything and more of what I expected. They stuck to the exact price we had agreed to. Will definitely check with them again on my next purchase. The only negative is they just don't know much about college football! More
They used high pressure sales to try and get me to buy a car that was not a good car! They lied to me several times about things, and even yelled at me at one point calling me stupid if I left with out buyi car that was not a good car! They lied to me several times about things, and even yelled at me at one point calling me stupid if I left with out buying the car (I left and it was the best thing I did!) I would not buy a car from them, or from Brandon Byers....they are the most unprofessional car dealership I have ever dealt with. More
Be VERY careful when buying any certified preowned vehicle here. I suggest that before closing on a deal, you take the VIN number and call Audi of America to find out about the warranty status, becaus vehicle here. I suggest that before closing on a deal, you take the VIN number and call Audi of America to find out about the warranty status, because they will advertise your VIN as being certified when it is NOT. Wish I had...my certified vehicle is not at all certified, according to Audi of America. I leased a Buyers Imports vehicle through Thompson & Ward Leasing, which promptly assigned my lease to another bank and went out of business. I only agreed to the deal BECAUSE of the warranty, which I now don't have, yet the deal is binding now that it was assigned to a lender, and I am making my payments, but got ripped off on the warranty. This is all because THEY titled a vehicle to Thompson and Ward before receiving payment from them. These shisters decided to punish me, the consumer, for their sloppy shady deal. Kevin King, general manager at Byers Imports, stated he does not care about losing customers. WORST experience EVER. NOT recommended at all. Go with an honorable, reputable dealer, which this is NOT.
