I have been buying cars from Byers Ford in Delaware for many years. I get all my service work done there, as well. Tiffany, in service, always takes good care of me!! I took my car in for a recall and an oil change at Byers Ford. I dropped my car up the night before and the following day, I called the dealership 3 times asking for an update on my vehicle. I never recei Ford. I dropped my car up the night before and the following day, I called the dealership 3 times asking for an update on my vehicle. I never received a call back indicating the status of my vehicle. At about 4 pm, I called and was told the man who was working in my vehicle had to leave for an emergency and that another service technician had taken over the repair. I picked up my car drove later that day and drove it for a number of days. Later that week, I discovered that a lug nut was missing. I called the dealership service department and was told that the cashier was supposed to have updated me on the problem, damaged wheel bolt and lug nut. I was not very happy to say the least. I had to make another appointment and drive the 20 miles miles in order to have the wheel repaired. That same day I left the service department manager, Brian Kassa, a voicemail outlining my dissatisfaction with what had occurred and I never received a return call. When I took my car back to the dealership for repairs they did apologize for the problem. Frankly, the entire experience was very disappointing to say the least. They did make the repair on the wheel while I waited and sent me on my way. As a customer I think there are a number of things that need to be changed in that dealership when it comes to service. For example, none of the people that I encountered the day I was there ever introduced themselves or explained to me their rolls. Based on this experience, I will never return to or recommend this dealership for automotive service! More
