I am sorry to see that you are unhappy with pricing you received from us. We didn't charge your to read the check engine code. The charge was for the smoke test that needed to be performed so we could properly diagnose your issue. This fee if for the labor for our technician to perform the test. As far as parts are concerned you can absolutely buy aftermarket parts for cheaper but we use OEM parts for our repairs.
