The dealership service department is very good, but they charge too much for parts and labor, as is typical of just about every dealership. $169.99 for a diagnostic is outrageous, ($100 to $120 too high). All I needed was the reason(s) why the "Check engine soon" idiot light came on on my 2011 Frontier SV pickup. According to the diagnostic, they recommended first replacing the PCV valve for $291 (Ridiculous! $17 to $28 at an auto parts store and $20 max for labor) and if that did not work, replacing the intake gasket/valve covers gasket plus a tune-up for another $927, (easily $125 to $150 too high), although they would credit the $169.99 diagnostic charge toward any and all work done. It's still too much. If I had not needed a proprietary Nissan diagnostic, I would gladly have gone elsewhere. The service and customer treatment are excellent, but you are truly paying a premium price for it. More
