My 2023 hyundai santa fe is making a noise,been doing it since shortly after I purchased the car new. It has been getting louder and more consistent over time. I took it in to service at least 4 times and h since shortly after I purchased the car new. It has been getting louder and more consistent over time. I took it in to service at least 4 times and have had 3 different people test drive the car, one time I drove the car with a technician who agreed there is a noise. Another visit the service manager went with me and he agreed there is a noise. The last time I took it in, I left it with them for a week, when I came back to get it, I was told, they couldn't find the source of the noise and there is nothing they can do. I filed a complaint with hyundai usa. They look into it and got back to me in short order. I was told by my case manager that the service manager said that after taking it for several test drives, they did not hear a noise. They lied to hyundai usa. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM BURDICK HYUNDAI! My sales representative Victoria and her manager Brian were awesome. They were very detailed and knowledgeable and very kind true. I took my hyndai Santa fe to this dealership last August because my engine fail . According what my mechanic said I have a recall on it. Evertime I call Christopher and Bill would be so rude I don't know anything about your car how is that possible that you take my car and you know anything. Everytime I call for an update is like am bothering them . I have alot of friends that works they even take me to their Christmas party but what kind of business with out any kind of any customer service satisfaction. I have to towed my car out of there they was so rude if you here how Bill was yelling at me. Christopher tells the Hyndai motor company that I didn't buy the car from and I never bring the car to them for any kind of issues now its not every one bring their to dealerships because they are mighty expensive. I would never recommend anyone to this place my niece and I looking to buy 2 cars right now for our business I would never mention this dealership to her . We looking at other dealership it not the first time people that they are rude there but I face them now and see that it's not a good business practice here. Never ever will buy a vehicle there . I was recently in the market for a new vehicle. Stock is limited and I was looking for an SUV. I really was hoping for something a bit bigger, like an Explorer or a Traverse, but I was keeping myself open t limited and I was looking for an SUV. I really was hoping for something a bit bigger, like an Explorer or a Traverse, but I was keeping myself open to anything because of the limited stock. My wife really wanted me to check out the Santa Fe and and Tuscon. I stopped here and got out to look at the few vehicles in the back of the lot. A salesman named Andrew came walking over and I told him the situation. He says, "You don't want these cars. These are all stripped down base SUVs. Just basic." I told him I needed a new vehicle and was open to any SUV, though I was originally looking for a bigger model. He says, "Yeah, this isn't what you're looking for." I tell him, well, I'm here to consider anything. Mind you, I'm looking in the windows of the SUVs and can't actually open them to look at them. I ask him the difference between them, he kind of begrudgingly tells me that it's just color and one is a 2021 and the others are 2022 models. I ask him how they are in the snow & he says "decent." He tells me again that I don't want these SUVs. "These aren't what you're looking for," he says with some weird reverse Jedi mind trick. I again tell him I'm here & trying to be open to anything. I mean, I'm almost begging him to talk me into a darn vehicle. Then, I kid you not, Andrew says, "Well, I'm hot so I'm going inside." He turns and walks away, leaving me in disbelief and laughing. I don't know if he was hoping I'd run after him and beg him to continue to tell me how much I don't want these vehicles, but Andrew really needed his air conditioning because he never even turned back. Andrew was gone. I followed Andrew's lead and left as well, going over to another dealership and literally signing papers within a couple hours. This guy was the absolute worst salesman I've ever seen. No idea why this dealership would employ someone who talks potential buyers into hating their vehicles and rudely leaves them standing outside wondering what the inside of a vehicle is like. Maybe there are other good salesmen there. Maybe the vehicles are good as well. I have no idea. I only know what I experienced with Andrew was mind-numbingly odd & turned me off to ever considering them down the line. At the same time, I'm glad Andrew was able to get the cool air he desperately needed. More
Engine light flashing and loss of acceleration. Was told I ran out of oil and burned engine, needed a new one. Went to other service center and the failed knocking sensor was replaced under warranty. I took my car in 6 weeks ago for a blown engine. Still don't have my car back and was not offered a loaner due to covid, figured after this long they could have made an exception. Deceitful-Buyer Beware! Test drove and signed a contract for a car and at delivery, without my knowledge or consent, was given a different car! Discovered it 2 days later when something didn't seem right and in checking saw it was a different VIN than the one in the signed contract. Worst part: the reason for the switch was an EMPLOYEE 'needed' a car ASAP. He took my car and had a similar car shipped in another from out of town. Had I been asked and or told this happened there would have not been a problem. But they slipped it by hoping I wouldn't notice. The deceitfulness of this dealership is unacceptable. I will not return there for service.....can't trust them! More
