Wasted Time Due to Misinformation by Dealership Received a letter stating a recall component needed to fix my passenger seat airbag had arrived. I called and confirmed with service department that Received a letter stating a recall component needed to fix my passenger seat airbag had arrived. I called and confirmed with service department that the part had in fact arrived, made appointment and took the time from work to take my car. The service representative was unsure as too part having arrived, I question why they had had me bring my car, he made a call and told me they did have 2 parts, to leave my car for part to be installed. When I picked up my car that afternoon, I requested some documentation stating the part had been replaced, and was told there was nothing to give me. I was suspicious about events that had transpired, so I contacted my insurance company and asked as to my rights to have some type of documentation about the exchange of my recalled part, and they told me to call and request evidence of change of part for them, I did. Representative told me part had not been changed, because they did not have these in the shop, that it was a confusion, and when he realized I was not happy, he offered a change of oil on them, to make up for inconvenience. More
