Then the service writer proceeds to tell my son (I bought him this car for college graduation) to just drive it until check engine light comes on then bring it back. Huh!!! You mean make my entire day about getting the check engine light to come on and bring it back where he has to be be without the car another, Miss more work and cross his fingers that the “Geniuses” figure it out, only if the light stays on after you turn the car off!!! Things that make you go hmmmmmm!!!!! The background on this problem is he heard a noise, at 42000 miles, so he took it to Chantiiy Automotive in Chantilly VA, a very repretable shop and they found the crack in the converter but advised him to take the vehicle to the dealership since it’s a warranty issue. We did and that’s when the fun begins. Had to wait 5 days for an appointment and leave the car all day and never got a call to say there was nothing wrong with the car until we called just before 5 pm. Such BS, it made me sad because I felt I was at a Ford Dealership. I’m a BIG GM GUY but this left a bad bad taste in my mouth. I own a Paving & Concrete Company & want to add more GM trucks to my fleet but this experience didn’t help the cause. I have bought 10 vehicles in the last year in a half with 1 being GM, my 2017 Denali Pickup. This is an amazing truck but these bush league employees are hurting the Chevrolet Brand. Marty Small More
Renewing My Faith I had a bad experience when the dealer ship was under the last owner when I bought my car. Decided to give them another try. Adam was wonderful and answered my questions concerning service that my Cruz would need in the future. I felt as if I mattered which I did not previously. Keep up the good customer service. More

WORST "SERVICE" EVER Poor communication, terrible follow through, no real commitment to the customer it seems. Appointment was on 11/3 (vehicle dropped evening of 11/2), and no updates all day of 11/3. Dealer hadn't touched it on 11/3 at all apparently, and "was going to try to look at it on 11/4", which came and went, along with 11/5 (no updates), 11/6 (Sunday), and finally on 11/7 or 11/8 I received an update there was no power at the dealership an they were trying to work on it to get it done (nearly a week after drop off). I was called on 11/9 that it was finished, and paid over the phone with the aloof cashier who I specifically requested place the keys and paperwork inside the locked vehicle as my wife and I would pick it up late that evening. Good thing that did not work out for my wife and I as when I came to pick it up on 11/10 (8 full days after drop off), not only were the keys an paperwork not in the the car as I'd requested (the cashier had them), but there was a tool left in the car, and the work wasn't even completed. We had to wait another 30 minutes for the tech to pull the car back into the bay, lift it, and install the intermediate shaft bushing that was left out for some reason. Back in the 90's, I purchased from this dealership (Dudley Martin Chevrolet) just because they're local, and that turned into a maintenance nightmare, and is the reason I'd decided in 1993 to NEVER purchase another GM vehicle. Now under new ownership, I thought things would have changed for the better at this place. I see that was not a safe assumption, and will avoid this dealership as much as possible for every reason, and use Koons GMC Buick down the road, or Pohanka Chevrolet in Chantilly where Chevy service is required. I'm now a life-long GM customer because of Koons GMC Buick, and Pohanka was superb during the buying and maintenance processes before (but they're just not conveniently located for me any more). Lesson learned. There was no reason for all this ridiculousness and non-communication, and comedically abysmal quality of service commitment. I will avoid this Chevrolet dealership in Manassas at all costs now, and you should probably do so too. More

It is for a headlight issue where the angle of the wire is such that it leads to fraying, and potentially a fire. GM sent me a letter so, I booked an appointment. I dropped the car off on time, and thought all was well. I picked up the car after the service, figuring it had been properly handled. Not so. I recently took the car on a long road trip, and of course, when darkness came, found out that the brights no longer function. I tried to call them this morning twice, and in neither case did the service department answer the phone, nor do they have it roll over back to the front desk. They have a curt message that says..."No one is available to take your call". Then they hang up on you. I will allow them to repair what they ruined, but, I won't be returning after. Not at all happy. More

At 2 pm, i asked front desk but no repair yet. I was told another hour so i checked at 3 pm, was told they were short on mechanics then the man came back said the re programming machine timed out. The recall letter stated i i will be in the dealership for 30 minutes but i was there from 12 30 to 3 pm and they still could not re program my Spark per the recall letter. I am very dissapppinted at this substandard dealership service department and how they showed their lack of technical competence in repairing a Chevy wide recall cited on the recall letter i received in the mail. They did not even care to follow up with me after i left the dealership to see how they can be professional in addressing the Spark recall letter!!! More
