Service center had my vehicle for a month. Poor communication/updates on timing of service. Had to initiate center to get updates (at least 3 times). Representative provided update regarding initial work but stated another problem that did not exist when vehicle was dropped off. No acceptance of responsibility at all; not even partial. No contact from center when work was completed. Rep stated that call was made and also left a message. Absolutely no evidence of call or message (phone call or text). Notification of convenience fee if paying by credit card need to be made at service check-in; not at the cashier desk. Customers can come prepared to pay via other means if this is known upfront. Grossly inconvenient and inconsiderate. More

After an accident on my way to work in April, I had my Chevy Bolt towed to the Collision Center at Bomnin Chevrolet. The Service was SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!! They kept in touch with me the entire repair and Chevy Bolt towed to the Collision Center at Bomnin Chevrolet. The Service was SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!! Had a longstanding Tahoe appt for Apr 17 2024 at 10:15. Showed up at 10:00. Reiterated to the service staff that I would be waiting, since it only needed a free oil change, due to the Platinum Service Pa Showed up at 10:00. Reiterated to the service staff that I would be waiting, since it only needed a free oil change, due to the Platinum Service Package that I purchased when I bought the new 2020 Tahoe from Bomnin in 2020. It wasn’t touched until 11:30, and only after I complained to Giovannie, the service tech. It finally came out of the garage after the oil change at 12:15 and just sat there with no one coming to the waiting room to tell me whether it was finished and ready for pickup. Only when I headed to the service office at 1230 did Abel (another service tech) intercept me and apologize for the inconvenience. I reminded him this exact thing happened last Fall with the same vehicle and I was assured that it would never happen again. So, in summary, I’ve bought 2 expensive vehicles from Bomnin in 2020 and 2021, purchased the pricey Platinum service package for the Tahoe, made an appt weeks in advance, showed up a few minutes early to help their schedule, told them I would be waiting, and they don’t touch the vehicle for an hour and a half!? And this was the second time this happened with the same vehicle within a year! My 2017 Vette was in the day before at the same time with zero issues and timely service, so I know they can do the right thing. Why pretend to have preferred customers, if this is the treatment they get? Why so much trouble with a Tahoe with 19K miles on it, as it’s like new?! Once the Platinum Package expires, I plan to go elsewhere for Tahoe maintenance. More
