I own a high mileage Chevrolet pick-up. After 180,000 miles of no issues all of the sudden the warning lights came on and started running very rough. I assumed electrical. I ran over to the dealer who said you need a new engine 6,000.00. UH OH time for second opinion. Mechanic # 2 said you have good compression you do not need engine except I cant find the problem. On to mechanic #3 who also believes new engine is the answer. My friend Kevin then tells me you need to go see Rick at Boise Automotive. Here comes the good part. I show up on Wednesday night before Thanksgiving thinking I will here something after the holidays. Rick says he will tear into it on Friday which he does finds the problem and reports back to me Friday after noon. I give him the go ahead thinking next week. He then says I will pick up parts and fix it Saturday. Saturday night I am driving down the road in my pick up thinking Rick is the real deal. Pat Palmer Oh yeah, He even warrantees the work. More

I took my older 1978 Dodge truck in for carb repair / rebuild. Joel scheduled the repair quickly and Rick got right on it. It ran much better from the shop. The floats needed re adjusted and the jets needed re adjusted. Rick did tell me that it may need to be drivern to fine tune it. They got it in and made the proper adjustments at no additional charge. They also have a good warranty and said it would have a 12 month, or 12, 000 mile warranty on the parts and labor. I would highly recommend them. I have used them on my newer cars and will continue to do so. It is very hard to find a repair shop that can confidently work on a wide array of vehiles like they do. More

As a one-time mechanic, I was especially impressed with Joel's level of understanding of auto systems as well as how receptive cost-effective manner. (EG: I asked about an after-market rotor in place of brand new ones, which Joel checked on & resulted in a substantial savings.) Over-all I have to say that the emphasis is on 'service' which is the last word in their company name but the very first word in their approach. Thanks Guys! And be assured, we'll be back. I recently purchased the 2004 Chevy Blazer from Image back in Sept of this year. I bought tires and you were gracious enough to put them on for me. After my first dealings with your company, I knew this is where I was going to take my Blazer for service from now on. I have purchased vechiles before and had to take them to different service companies other then the one I bought the vechile from. I plan on keeping the Blazer for at least 10-20 years. Your employees are very helpful, friendly. and courteous. I will be more then happy to tell all my friends to go to your shop for service on their vechiles. Those that live on this side of town.
