They sold a lemon and rather than do their best to correct the situation they just threw their hands up and said they were just the middle man. Keith in the service department along with most of their staff should be fired. Do not shop here. Save yourself the headache. More

I wasn't sure if I would leave a review, but after 7 months, my nightmare of a car keeps getting worse!!! I am 19 years old, and I was excited for my first purchase and adult responsibility. My goal was months, my nightmare of a car keeps getting worse!!! I am 19 years old, and I was excited for my first purchase and adult responsibility. My goal was to get a Chevy Malibu. I didn't have any credit, but my mom was going to help me with the cosigning. Everything seemed ok at first; the man who helped us was a decent human being; however, I wasn't able to get the car I wanted, so they offered me a Chevy Volt. I wasn't too convinced, but they were very persuasive, and I have no experience in purchasing vehicles, nor does my elderly mother. They basically forced us into this contract with a vehicle not of my choosing. My mom suffers from anxiety, and as we were asking questions about the process, the manager, I assume, was very rude to my mom and said it would take about 2–3 hours. Not once did anyone at that dealer offer us anything to drink as we waited. Three hours later, the paper work was done. The car had no gas, and they were hesitating and not putting any in. "It doesn't even have enough gas to get home," I said, so they finally decided to add some. They gave me a broken key, which caused the car to have troubles starting and locking the vehicle. I had to pay for a new one. The doors never locked after a few days, I told them, and they wanted me to pay to fix them. The worst part was that, within a month, the car broke down on the freeway. I was terrified and crying; I didn't know what to do. I got it towed through my own insurance to the dealer; it was in the shop for a week or so. Within months of the purchase, I repeatedly received emails about my vehicle needing service. I was confused about why the dealer didn’t service it before I bought it. The dealer's scam of the year is that I purchased the car at 94,090 miles. The extended warranty covers only 3,000 more. Little did I know that at 100,000 miles, the car needed a full service fee. I called them to address the issue, and they rudely said I was out of my warranty and needed to pay 3,000 dollars so they could service it. This car shakes on the freeway, squeeks when I break, the AC filter smells horrible, and the engine light goes on and off. They are scammers!!! I was driving a 1995 Toyota 4Runner and then they let you drive a 2017 so you can feel it is a bit nicer. I was taken advantage of by multiple individuals here. Please do not shop here, or you will end up with a poor-quality car ( LEMON) and a loan twice as much as the car is worth!! More
Took my diesel work truck in for egr issues and to have them check my motor mounts. They called after a couple weeks and said it was done. But they forgot to check the motor mounts they called me back a fe them check my motor mounts. They called after a couple weeks and said it was done. But they forgot to check the motor mounts they called me back a few days later and said in need them. Only problem is they did not have them in stock and were not sure when they would be in. Two weeks later they call and said they had no idea when they would come in and could only put after market one in and will not warranty them. I got a week later I got a call they were in and would be done at the end of the week. It was not done. The next week called and spoke two different service advisors and the service manger they all told me they were waiting on parts still then I said they were in and asked them to check then they call back say they are in but not sure when it would be done. Long story short I from start to finish the had it a few days over two months then I get in it and my ac doesn’t work anymore. There tell the an ac line is old and cracked and want to charge me 1000 bucks I look at the line it’s fine. While inspecting I noticed an electrical clip is broken and zip tied together. It’s obvious and it new but the tell me it was like that and I probably put it on there. I’m a smaller construction company and take out stuff to then in hoping for dealer quality work. Since 2015 we have bought four work trucks from them yet they treat us like dummies. This is just a recent experience there. When I bought the truck new it had some recall issues. After the this repair they pulled my truck out and say it done. I walked around the truck and my back truck door and tool box door were smashed in the ran it into something and tried to say I did it. All around nightmare More
Bought a Chevy Traverse at this dealership and later on got an e-mail stating their price guarantee , The guarantee says. 3 days or OR under 200 miles to get price guarantee. It was over 3 days but I had u got an e-mail stating their price guarantee , The guarantee says. 3 days or OR under 200 miles to get price guarantee. It was over 3 days but I had under 200 miles on vehicle. Sales manager states it was over 3 days and would not give price guarantee. They have no intention of honoring their price guarantee. They also tried to rip me off by saying I had to buy that Karrs security system if I wanted the car which was a straight out LIE!! When I showed them in the contract it wasn"t necessary, only then did they take it off. Will never step foot in this dealership again!! More
Not honorable. Overcharge and don’t fix things. I’m now being told from a new mechanic that money I spent on new parts at Bob Stall aren’t actually new. They cleane Overcharge and don’t fix things. I’m now being told from a new mechanic that money I spent on new parts at Bob Stall aren’t actually new. They cleaned up the originals and pulled from other cars to replace with mine which means my “new” parts were never going to last the amount of time they were meant to because they weren’t new! They are liars! More
Took my Corvette in for a Shrudder issue. The service advise was playing dumb that they never heard of the issues and wanted to charge me over $1000 to change the transmission oil. I tried t The service advise was playing dumb that they never heard of the issues and wanted to charge me over $1000 to change the transmission oil. I tried to explain to her that there is a bulletin on the issues. She still played dumb until I mentioned the 5 year warranty on power train. That's when it took her two days to get back to me that Chevrolet will cover it. So for an oil change and transmission flush they had my car for 1 week and a half. I then ask her to find out if my car has the option to buy the magnetic ride control, I asked about it twice and she never got me the answer. When I picked up my car on a Saturday no one was there, a lady helped me but she was xxxxxxxx the whole time that it's her day off and she's not on the clock! Then they couldn't find where my key was....so I had to wait a while until the found it. When I got home I checked and the dipstick was loose! I swear I'm not going back to this place! My previous experience with them wasn't that great either. SMH More

My last ever visit to Bob Stall Chevrolet La Mesa, my last Chevy ever! My 2017 Chevy Sonic Premier (turd) as we call it needed yet again another repair as Chevy builds junk! They purposely engineer Chev last Chevy ever! My 2017 Chevy Sonic Premier (turd) as we call it needed yet again another repair as Chevy builds junk! They purposely engineer Chevy to disassemble after 36K unlike Asian car manufacturer's. Do not buy American! It hurts to say but these are the facts! 9 repairs to date, only 72k on vehicle, and the paint is literally coming off the car! First Bob Stall Chevrolet La Mesa service department kept my car overnight and didn't even call me to let me know that my car never made it into the service department they day it was scheduled! Completely incompetent inconsiderate service staff. Bob Stall Chevy then analyzed it for $108.00 they then said the total repair would be $703.00 including ($108.00 scan). A quick search on the net revealed the labor for the 2 parts would take about 30 minutes total labor to install and a $20.00 special socket. A call to Autozone the parts were $104.00. I called back to Bob Stall Chevrolet La Mesa Service department and ask for better pricing they said no, I requested to talk to the service manager he said they pay their techs $150.00 per hour. I stated the overage they are charging me as the repair is less than 1 hour for both parts! His response was "if you don't like the pricing go some where else!" I'm a 55 year old disabled dude, my spine is fused from my butt to my neck along with 2 steel rods running same distance. I'm not a Chevy Certified mechanic! I bought the parts and the socket totaling $124.00 fixed the car myself. In total it took less than an hour to install the Oxygen purge sensor (7 mins) with a screwdriver and pliers, and the rear oxygen purge sensor (30mins) with an oil change in between for a total of less than 1 hour. If the parts are $104.00 and the scan is $108.00 that equals $212.00. The estimate was $703.00. So $703.00-212.00=$491.00 for less than 1 hour labor. The overage Bob Stall attempted to extort from me for labor is $341.00 (491-150=341). I have also filed complaints with GM regarding the lack of quality of the vehicle and the attempted extortion experienced at Bob Stall Chevrolet La Mesa! I have promised myself to warn others and vowed to post on social media one complaint for every dollar Bob Stall Chevy tried to extort from me thru overcharging for another repair. I'm old, pissed, and retired, all I got is time! This is complaint #1 of 341 not including word of mouth! BOB Stall Chevrolet La Mesa worst dealership experience ever! I rate BOB Stall Chevrolet La Mesa 0 out of 5 stars More
