I also asked that my navigation system in my trade-in vehicle be deleted because I was unable to delete personal info from navigation due to the rushed transaction process and non-&°@@traditional purchase using “No Contact” Due to COVID-19. nearly two weeks after my trade for a new Mazda vehicle, I was contacted via my personal cell phone number by someone who was looking to purchase my trade-in vehicle. She contacted me to ask if I had any issues with my vehicle and I assured her it was in great condition and no issues. I then asked how she obtained my personal info and she stated she got my name and number off the navigation system in my vehicle! This of course was after my salesman told me he had deleted all info from my navigation. Once again, very disappointed in the lack of follow through and concern for me as the customer. I tried reaching out to both my salesman and his manager but did not receive any call back from either after I made my purchase. More

Brenden was ok as a salesman. It took from 5/26 to 6/8 to get the CX-30 I wanted. It took the dealership from 5/26 to 6/2 to get the car I wanted from the Denver dealership. I added the following options to get the CX-30 I wanted. It took the dealership from 5/26 to 6/2 to get the car I wanted from the Denver dealership. I added the following options to my purchase. All weather high wall mats, cargo mat, cargo cover, rear bumper guard, wireless charging pad, frameless rear view mirror with home link and front and rear splash guards. I was called into the dealership to since the papers and give my down payment of $13K before month end. I was happy to do both with the promises that my new car would be there by the following Monday. At that time I asked as to why it was taking so long to get the specific car I wanted. I was told it was a bidding war with the Schomp dealership. They wanted a car in trade that Bob Penkhus didn’t want to part with. Not sure why more could not have been done to speed that process along. Being pushed to since financial documents before the car was in hand seemed strange and left me wanting to go elsewhere. Once I signed the Financial documents, all dealer installed options should have been ordered. The next roadblock to an easy purchase was the fact that my car was delivered to the Bob Penkhus on Powers location on 6/2/20. I was promised my new car would be ready by 6/6/2020 at the latest. I called on 6/5 and was told that they were waiting on the frameless rear view mirror and that everything else was ready to go, but I may have to wait until 6/9 for pickup. After receiving no update call on Saturday 6/6, I had to assume that my new car was going to be ready on Monday 6/9. On Sunday 6/8, I drove over to the dealership to see if maybe I could get a glance of my new car in one of the service bays. Unfortunately, I found my exact new CX-30 sitting in the dealership parking. I could tell that it had been sitting there for at least a week due to how dirty it was. On Monday I drove over to the dealership to talk with management to see why my car wasn’t ready as promised. Again fortunately, I found my new car in the same spot with no work yet done on it. At this point I was even more upset since I had already given the dealership $13K as my down payment. During that visit I spoke with Brenden and let him know how upset I was with how my vehicle purchase had so far been handled. Brenden did say that he had been pushing to get my car done ASAP but the auto body guy and the service department gave him considerable pushback. The continued excuses fell on deaf ears. I made a point to do my business locally, but it was regrettable. Brenden tried what he could, but the competing departments completely screwed up the overall transaction. Even after repeatedly mentioning my frustration, I was only met with excuses and not a compensated resolution. The final delivery of my new car did not include one of the options, but I cannot fault a late delivery to the dealership of an on-order part which only needed a simply owner install. My overall experience and outcome was very poor. At this point I would not recommend doing business with this particular Mazda dealership. More
