We leased our second Sonata with Bob Mayberry Hyundai and made the deal through Chris Griffin and Paul Moore. Paul treated us like family and made our second experience with the dealership just as good as o made the deal through Chris Griffin and Paul Moore. Paul treated us like family and made our second experience with the dealership just as good as our first (with Chris Griffin). We spoke on the phone with Paul and told him what we wanted and said we could be at the dealership within the hour. We even worked the deal out over the phone. We arrived with our two kids and Paul had the car waiting and told us to take it for a spin. We got back, told Paul we wanted the car but could not sign the papers until we took our daughter to gymnastics practice. Paul, being a family man himself said that was not a problem and said he would have the car fueled up and detailed before we came back. When we arrived back at the dealership two hours later the car was ready and so was the paperwork. Paul was a true professional from start to finish in a process that can sometimes be stressful and overwhelming. Now on my Fourth car purchase from Gene at Bob Mayberry Hyundai-Monroe NC. A large part of my loyalty to this dealer has to do with Gene Simmons. Gene always goes out of his way to accommodate all of my Hyundai-Monroe NC. A large part of my loyalty to this dealer has to do with Gene Simmons. Gene always goes out of his way to accommodate all of my requests and actually makes the car buying experience fun and not stressful. He Works very hard to get you the best deal possible. Gene works hard to earn your trust, and now he has a customer for life in me. I highly recommend Gene Simmons to anyone in the market for a new (or used) car. More
James was very friendly. He was very patience in showing us various vehicles and helping us work toward the vehicle my wife finally choose. There was no pressure. Gene was a GREAT salesman! He listened to what I needed and wanted and made it happen! He showed all the features on the vehicle and made me feel very comfortable with the Sonata before I drove off. Also, he got the perfect color I wanted....Iridescent Blue!! Lourdes was great on the financing. She was able to get me a better rate that my own financing that I already had in place. She explained everything thoroughly to me and did not push anything on to me that I did not want. They both were great and I will gladly recommend anyone to stop in and ask for them. The two men my husband and i dealt with were Clayton King and Ted Kipp. Upon arriving Clayton immediately greeted me and asked how he could assist me. I informed him I was looking to gain information on two and Ted Kipp. Upon arriving Clayton immediately greeted me and asked how he could assist me. I informed him I was looking to gain information on two different vehicles. He was extremely informative and very low key - no pressure. Once my husband walked in, Clayton continued to address me, but always acknowledged my husband. Clayton spent over 8 hours giving us information, showing us the vehicles and riding with us on a test drive. What a great experience - HIGHLY RECOMMEND this gentleman and this dealership. Then when we were passed on to Ted Kipp for financing we once again had a great experience. Ted worked to get us the best percentage and gave us addtional infomation on extended warranties. We can not say enough good things about these men and this dealership. GREAT EXPERIENCE. More
Bob Mayberry Hundai truely deserves a very positive rating regarding my new car buying experience. Only one (not another Hundai dealer) treated me as a customer to be respected - not patronized, but respected as a customer they would like to begin a long term relationship with. The salesman (James) was honest and sincere while I was in the "looking phase". And he was thorough while he showed me all the features of the car. He was/is truely enthusiastic about being a salesperson at this Hundai dealer - I believe partly due to the vehicles and Hundai as a company; but probably even moreso because he respects the sales philosophy clearly demonstrated by the dealer ownership. Lourdes was not only by far - but in truth, the only financial person at any dealer that I felt 1) knew her business extremely well, and 2) exuded the honesty and sincerity that a customer likes to see when spending a good sum of money. She was able to do a lot of the paperwork ahead of time based on an extremely pleasant phone call a few days prior to me picking up my new car. Not only was she able to do so (which I believed any dealership could); but she actually did have the paperwork completed which saved a ton of my time. Finally, unlike so many other dealers (including all the other Hundai dealers I visited) - Bob Mayberry respected not only me as a customer with whom they would like to do future business with; but they respected my time. When I told James during my first visit that I had to be on my way by 4:30 - he told me that it was 4:40 and he hoped to pick up our conversation at a later time. Many other dealers try to keep you on their property (by any means) until you buy a car. A great dealership with whom I am confident I will do more business. More
I was needing to buy my first car. I had amazing service the very second I pulled up and walked in the door. I could not have received a better experience anywhere else. They truly are a huge family. They all work with each other. EVERYBODY was very happy to be working there. The Business office was amazing with explaining everything to me. They were all very thorough in helping me get what I needed. It was a very warm show room and a very warm experience. I could tell from the minute that I walked in the front door that I was in the right place. They made sure that I was comfortable every step of the way. They were all very patient with me as I was finishing everything on my end with my insurance company. They did not rush me in and out. They took there time to explain every little things. The sales men even connected my cell phone to the cars blue tooth for me. I am definitely going to be sending all of my friends and family their way when they are looking for a great car, at a great price, at an amazing place. More

I took my 2011 Sonata in for servicing. Justin told me I was due for the 30,000 mile check-up if I wanted to leave my car and the dealership would provide a loaner. Justin requested an Azera, Mary completed the required paperwork for the loaner and both told me I was going to love this car. I called my husband a few times to tell him I loved this car, he contacted the dealership and when I returned the loaner to pick up my car - with the help of Justin, my husband was waiting for me at the dealership and surprised me with a brand new 2013 Azera. This is the third vehicle we've purchased at Bob Mayberry and each experience has been wonderful. Great dealership, with great people! I really liked my Sonata, but I LOVE the Azera! More
