As far as the salesman to attain the sale he did a good job as far as showing features of the vehicle of the sale it was non existent. I did not know how to put the vehicle in park. I asked if we could turn the blinker noise off during the test drive and the salesman did not assist with this before I left. When the sale was over and walked to the car the salesman basically handed me the keys and paperwork, he changed the tag from one vehicle, he did not even sit in the vehicle 3 minutes. I’ve sold/purchased about 20 cars in my lifetime, frequently that has been through dealerships. I’ll be honest I hate the whole sales/finance gamesmanship of the process. I’ve flown to locations to buy vehicles even though the right one was right down the road because I hated that dealership soo much. Phil Wartley and Bob Howard Hyundai were the absolute BEST buying experience I have ever had. I would, and in fact WILL fly/drive to them as necessary for any future car purchase. It was that positive an experience. I had been looking for a vehicle with a specific combination of features that was proving difficult to find. I found one there and was not looking forward to dealing with the online negotiation process not to mention the aggravation once I got there. After 2 minutes on the phone with Phil I knew I was dealing with a person and dealership of integrity and empathy. They made the process soo easy I had the transaction mostly completed online in just a few minutes and simply had to show up when I was able. After driving several hours I was just waiting to get hit in the face with the “fine print” discussions and it didn’t happen. In fact every interaction to include the dreaded trade in was amazing. I DROPPED ON FRIDAY, I WAS TOLD SATURDAY I COULD PICK UP THE VEHICLE AND WHEN I TRIED I GOT A MRS. SHEMIAH ON THE LINE STATING MY CAR HAS ENGINE DAMAGE.
