We sincerely apologize that your ownership experience did not meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating it can be when an unexpected issue arises after purchasing a vehicle. While every pre-owned vehicle undergoes a thorough inspection before being offered for sale, mechanical issues can still occur, particularly on a 14-year-old vehicle with age and mileage. When you contacted us, we made every effort to assist by towing your Jeep to our dealership at no charge, prioritizing the diagnosis by reducing the expected diagnostic wait from approximately 24 hours to about one hour, and thoroughly investigating the concern. During the diagnostic process, we explained that the wiring and sensor readings could indicate a thermostat issue. Our technicians confirmed that the thermostat was the cause of the inaccurate temperature gauge reading. Fortunately, the engine itself was not overheating...it was the faulty thermostat causing the gauge to incorrectly indicate that it was. We also completed the diagnosis and repairs without passing any of those costs on to you. We regret that this situation occurred, but we remain committed to standing behind our customers and providing prompt, fair assistance whenever possible.
