When dealers sell Pre-owned vehicles there are 3 classifications in which the vehicle is covered 1) Full Manufacture Warranty, 2) Limited (or partial/ remainder of manufacture warranty, or lastly 3) As-Is. This documentation must be completed when selling any vehicle by the dealer and signed by the customer. It's a state law to protect the consumer. At Bob Caldwell we also offer additional coverage that all customers are offered and must sign a policy or a declination agreement stating they understand that they (the customer) is waiving any coverage on their vehicle. This particular vehicle was over 13 years old and over 125,000 miles. When a customer purchases a vehicle (not just from Bob Caldwell but any dealership) As- Is, there is nothing assumed by the selling dealer and should not be by the customer either. In this particular instance we went out of our way to fix multiple items after the vehicle was sold without charging the customer, we also paid for a tow and alternate transportation. Even at this point, more than 4 months after the vehicle was sold, we offered to pay for half of the repair. Please understand, with no manufacturing backing and declined service coverage, we can not continue to pay for repairs. I'm sorry that you feel that we were of no service to you. First of all please do not lie for there is much evidence proving otherwise, you attempted to repair my car multiple times? After purchase my vehicle had only been touched twice by you people, I paid for it to be towed away and have the receipt from the repair shop to prove it, bottom line I was shown info about a vehicle I planned to purchase and was switched with a car that matched nothing I received information about almost getting me killed, and if you think cheating and treating people this way is ok, then there is something wrong with all of you.

I apologies if you felt that we were dishonest,we can assure you that is not our intentions. We can no collect on rebates from the manufacture that are not on the customer's Buyer's Agreement. We do make mistakes and I apologies again if that came off as dishonest. In regards to the difference in MSRP and Invoice the margins have shrunk quite a bit in the last decade industry wide, with 100% certainty we do not fabricate invoices if the sales manager was showing transparency with the MSRP markup. Finally it is true dealers (quite often) sell vehicles for losses, sometimes it's manufacture or floor plan lender pressure, sometimes the vehicle is aged, other times there is a volume incentive whether it be from the manufacture or dealer, regardless it happens every week here at our store.
