Ah yes, the joy of introducing a 3rd party. When a dealership sells a vehicle with a loan agreement, the dealership you buy the vehicle from is not who provides the loan to the customer, it's a medley of dozens of indirect lenders that all fight for each customers business based off of credit, fico score, prior financial arrangements, income, years at work, yada yada yada. Most people know this as I'm sure you do too boej83. Sometimes we deliver cars when banks are unable to make credit decisions (weekends, nights, holidays, etc..) and the bank later requires the dealership to gather additional info as we see in this instance. In regards to any issues that might still be going on, please call me directly (Justin H- 614-880-2824). The work # goes to my cell and I can take calls anytime assuming I'm conscience. If the matter has been resolved at this point, we greatly apologies for the inconvenience, usually the urgency is based off time frame or possibility the bank kicks the deal and the vehicle has to be returned which usually does not benefit any of the 3 parties involved. I was not able to finish writing completely what I wanted to due to word limitation. I would like to add that I have been dealing with Bob Caldwell Dodge since moving to Columbus 4 years ago and have never had a problem with their service. Their service is much superior to the Dodge dealership I dealt with in Austintown, OH, who one time cut my wife's wires that activated the handicapped lift for a scooter. Fortunately, the lift company was kind enough to repair this at no charge, but I never felt comfortable taking my car in after that and informed the dealership of this, too, and told them that if something ever happened like that again, they would have to pay.

Thank you Travis for sharing your service experience. Recall notices have become very tricky. Not only are there tons of recalls currently (industry wide, not just Chrysler), but manufactures are having a tough time supplying the dealers with the parts and instructions necessary to complete the recall. To complicate the recall even more, typically the recall letter states to the customer the time in which it "should" take the technician to fix. In many cases this is accurate but most shops and techs still need additional time to finish prior job, rack, and inspect vehicle for general safety and maintenance. This leads to a longer than expected time for the recall to be completed. Anyway short story long, it's encouraging to hear you were happy with the turn around. Lastly, we have many new faces in service management, admin, and the drive. They have a very difficult job in this department as most customers do not "look forward" to repairing their vehicle. The current staff is doing a great job in my eyes and glad to hear in customer's eyes too. Thanks again for taking the time to provide the feedback. -Justin H (GM)
