My visit to Blackwell I initially visited the Blackwell Automotive website seeking to make an appointment to have my 2016 Jeep Wrangler service to include oil change and ti I initially visited the Blackwell Automotive website seeking to make an appointment to have my 2016 Jeep Wrangler service to include oil change and tire rotation. I was also going to get them to check the front of the engine for a noise that sounded like a loose belt. The website allowed me to book an appointment for the next day. I received a call from "Gordi" who stated he was the booking agent and the date and time I selected was not available. He then stated that he was booking into next year. I think I mentioned to him that if he was that behind he should consider hiring some additional technicians. He then "found" me a cancellation for about ten days away and I agreed to take the slot, which was at 2pm on a Thursday. I arrived early to drop my vehicle off because I had a ride to work, and the first service writer seemed like it was an inconvenience to write up the order, and was quick to explain the $99 diagnostic fee if the repair was not covered by the warranty.. Around 3:45 pm I called the dealership to inquire the status of my vehicle and the person answered said it was still being services and was not ready since it was a 2pm appointment. About an hour later a got a call from Marty, another of the service writers and he was very helpful and told me the service had been completed but the diagnostics revealed a bad alternator and he had one on order and it would be there in the morning and they could complete the repair before the end of the day on Friday and offered to keep my vehicle at the dealership so I would not have to come back in the morning. He called me back the next day when the vehicle was ready and even went into the back lot to bring my vehicle out to the front. Why didn't I get him first I wondered to my self. It is because of Marty that a I gave 4 stars. The first action would be to fix the website so that visitors get a real time appointment so they don't have to talk to Gordi and get moved to the next month! Second I would do is have some training on how to greet customers when they arrive and not leave them waiting for somebody to get done talking to a technician before they speak to me. More

KSDS" While she was there you pulled the cabin filter and the air filter out for replacement and she was charged $66.03 for two air filters. $12.50 was for putting them in,which took what, about no more than five minutes??? You must have saw her coming from a mile away. Crossed checked the filters cost @ a parts store... $18.99 and $14.99. No cost for installing them. Your inflated cost and labor charge total:$66.03 The auto parts place and free labor: $33.98. Could have saved $32.05 Thanks Blackwell Dodge!!! More
