Getting ready to trade in our Olsdmobile, but since they don't make them anymore, decided to check out Chevy. Called and made an appointment to test drive one. During the conversation, the salesman notice don't make them anymore, decided to check out Chevy. Called and made an appointment to test drive one. During the conversation, the salesman noticed our Oldsmobile's radio was stuck on LOC and wouldn't play. He told us to call the service department the next day and he could call GM, give them our VIN, and get a 4 digit unlock code to get the radio to work again. So we did. The Service Manager told us to bring the car in, and they would "take care" of it for $95. $95 ??????? All it takes is calling a prerecorded phone number, punching in a 6 digit code, and listening to a prerecorded 4 digit response. They don't even GET IN THE CAR, they give you the number and collect $95 for making a phone call. I was totally pissed, especially since the salesman indicated they could do it as a free service. Needless to say, when the salesman called to follow up on the car, I politely informed him that if they would screw me BEFORE I became a customer, I could only imagine what they would do to me once I became a captive Chevy owner. Bill Buck Chevrolet ended up making me a satisfied Toyota owner. And we wonder why we don't buy American...... Oh, and the radio???? The next day I found step by step instructions on how to unlock it on the Internet by calling GM myself and getting the unlock code myself. Took all of 45 seconds. More
Bought a used certified vehicle from this dealership, year and a half later discovered that the jack handle parts were missing. How many people look for that to be there-I did not. Called the dealership year and a half later discovered that the jack handle parts were missing. How many people look for that to be there-I did not. Called the dealership in December to see if they would provide a voucher to get these parts from a dealership in CO where I live. No one returned my call. Called again in January, Ben Lewis says these parts are very expensive and it has been a long time since I bought the vehicle. Well Ben, no s--- but how many people look for a jack handle until they need one??? He has to speak with the owner who is not in, of course and will get back with me Monday. Ben says he is very sorry that he cannot deal with my need. Ben, a certified vehicle that you sold twice-can you not do the right thing? Pull your head out and think! He is very doubtful that the new 'owner' will not cough one up. Sorry but the old ownership would have come through and gotten off thier fat wallet to give me what should have come with the truck. This dealership sold this truck as new, took it in as a trade then resold it to me. Sooooo, guess my father who is looking for a car right now will not be coming to Bill Buck Chev. nor will his friends. Thanks BB for the lousy service. DISSAPOINTED beyond belief with my extended contacts with this place. Don't go there, you will get the run around as my dealings and other reviews have proven. More
