Why they call it SERVICE DEPARTMENT is beyond me. I’ve had several recalls on my 2020 Explorer. But they ONLY do the recall fixes over night. They said they would find someone to take me home but never did. At 75 years old, I had to walk the 3-1/2 miles home in 100 degree heat. Another time I made an appointment for an oil change at 3:30pm. I showed up at 3:15 and saw my vehicle go up on the rack at 4:30. It came down at 5:15 and I had to wait in a line of others to pay my bill. They have done away with the Cashier dept so the service scheduler now handled payments AND incoming service work. In addition, I looked at buying my Explorer from them due to the proximity to my home. When they handed me the quote, there was a $2000 line item entitled OTHER FINANCIAL AFTERMARKETS. I asked what that was and was told only that they include it on all of their quotes. Then I asked them for the quote to take with me and they refused. More
