Please reach out to me at jmayhew@baytowngm.com with some details so I can dig into your complaint. Since you mentioned “auction cars”, I presume you are referring to a Pre-Owned vehicle purchase. Each of our vehicles, whether trade-in or purchase, go through a service department inspection to ensure the vehicle is fit to be retailed at our franchised new car dealership. We have much higher standards than independent “tote-the-note” type stores and a “trash car” is wholesaled instead of making it’s way to our sales lot. If you genuinely have such a vehicle, I absolutely need to know about it because that would indicate a complete breakdown of our processes on several levels which I find very difficult to imagine. I also would like to know who you spoke with at the dealership about your issue. Though rare in occurrence, I am notified of every serious situation and this is the first I’ve heard of anything like you describe. I look forward to discussing your issue in detail.
