I went into BICAL Chevy to check some prices on a new/used Tahoe. I currently own a Denali and I am considering swapping it out. I spoke with the used car manager Anthony Gallo. He was extremely k new/used Tahoe. I currently own a Denali and I am considering swapping it out. I spoke with the used car manager Anthony Gallo. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all my questions and gave me a lot of info to consider. If I do trade in my car, I will definately go to this dealership to do so. More
If you are willing to agree on a deal, leave a down payment, deal with the rudest General Manager of any Dealership, and then be told that the deal is not being honored, then this is the place for you. payment, deal with the rudest General Manager of any Dealership, and then be told that the deal is not being honored, then this is the place for you. In the beginning of May 2012, I was shopping for a new Chevy Equinox. The car I wanted had to be factory ordered and was told it would take 6-8 weeks to be delivered. I had negotiated what I believed to be a fair price, signed a contract, put money down and left looking forward to receiving my new car. Weeks went by and no car. I was later told that GM was no longer building 2012's but the order would be put in again for a 2013 and the price would remain unchanged for my inconvenience. Almost 4 months later my car was in. My original salesman, Moses ( a fellow veteran ) was no longer at that dealership. Too bad, I felt that he was an honorable a descent man. I was now dealing with the General Manager, Diana Devaney. While waiting for my car, I called the her at least 6 times and received 1 call back. When I went with my wife and kids to pick up my car, lo and behold< I was told that they could not give me the price I negotiated any more. When my upset wife voiced her displeasure that we had waited four months for this car and had signed a contract, Ms Devaney said that my trade-in had depreciated and the value had changed, and that was on the back of the contract. She then was extremely rude to my wife in front of our children claiming that she would give me my deposit back because she didn't want a bad survey. I decided to pay the difference. However, Ms. Devaney left and came back with another increase stating that this was a 2013 and I had ordered a 2012. There was an increase in cost due to the newer model, my trade-in had depreciated, and a new destination charge of $500 was now added. I explained that this was no fault of ours. Asked if she would honor my contract she stated that it was expired. Of course, I was waiting for the car! Worse, she blamed Moses for all the problems. That is despicable and she obviously has little to no integrity. So, if you're a glutton for punishment and want the worst car buying experience from a typical used car salesman (I should say saleswoman), then go to Bical Chevrolet and see Diana Devaney. I hope to never have to pass the place again. More
going on 3 monthes ago I bought a tahoe, my GPS was not loaded, which I only found out when I was taking a long trip, after I was told that one of the features was GPS. I also did not get my spare key whe loaded, which I only found out when I was taking a long trip, after I was told that one of the features was GPS. I also did not get my spare key when I gave them 2 keys. I have not been able to get the manager ( Diana )or the sales person (Johnny) to call me back to get this resloved in almost 3 mothes. Terrible customer service, I would not buy another automobile there nor would I recommend anyone. More
I recently purchased a 2005 Chevy Avalanche from Bical Chevrolet in Valley Stream. The truck was not detailed right, but I still took the truck because the salesman assured me that if I brought the truck Chevrolet in Valley Stream. The truck was not detailed right, but I still took the truck because the salesman assured me that if I brought the truck back he would have them re-do it. When I picked it up it still was not done correctly, it was filthy. Some areas were not even touched. How many times must I take it there for my truck to be done right? I tried to give my local dealer some business but I see how they let me down so I would not tell anyone to go there. I have NEVER posted anything before but I feel I have to tell others, not to feel so trusting when it comes to this dealerships WORD! Beware that your just another Number at Bical. More
I was in the market for a Tahoe and found a pre-certified 2008 LTZ at Bical. I sent an email to Moses and recieved a quick response on the vechicle. I initially couldn't make my first meeting with Moses and 2008 LTZ at Bical. I sent an email to Moses and recieved a quick response on the vechicle. I initially couldn't make my first meeting with Moses and sent him an email to let him know that I was still interested in the Tahoe but it would take me a few days to get to the dealership. Moses was very professional and prompt in getting back to me and told me to come in whenever I had the time and that it wasn't a problem. A few days later I made it to the dealership and start working with Johan. Johan was great, very down to earth and easy to talk to, tried to save me as much as possible on the Tahoe. Did a great job, would work with him again in a minute. Bill Quiroz in finance is on point also great guy! Found me the best interest rate on the Tahoe in a day, even spoke to a few guys in the service department and they were all very pleasant likeable guys. More
Overall a good purchasing experience. I found a Honda Odyssey they were listing online and decided to do some more research. I lived in Kansas and sent a mechanic to check out the car, everything checke Odyssey they were listing online and decided to do some more research. I lived in Kansas and sent a mechanic to check out the car, everything checked out and car was in great condition as described. Johan was great to work with. When I got there we went for a quick test drive and car sounded and felt great. There were no snags on paperwork and Johan did everything that he said he would do, and even went above the call of duty to help me out. 1) I had to fly in from Kansas so he had someone pick me up from the hotel so I didnt have to get a cab. 2) After the sale was completed I needed some help in getting out of New York City. He took the extra time to drive me to the exit and show me which route was best to avoid the atrocious toll fees that city charges. 3) Two days later he called me as I was almost home, to see how the car was running and how I liked it. The one piece of constructive feedback is on the detailing. I thought the carpets could have been cleaned a little better and more thorough vacuuming. It wasnt bad, but I thought it could have been more thorough. Other than this I thought the car was sold as advertised, and a great counterparty to deal with. I would recommend Bical to anyone looking to buy a car. Johan didnt pressure me at any point. and did a great job in making sure everything was ready when I got there. More
Shopping for weeks for a used car, from Huntington, Amityville, Hempstead, Manhasset and beyond. After reading not-so-nice ratings at this dealership I was a bit hesitant, yet they had a car I wanted Amityville, Hempstead, Manhasset and beyond. After reading not-so-nice ratings at this dealership I was a bit hesitant, yet they had a car I wanted to see. I contacted them by email with rapid response! What a wonderful experience! From the time I then stepped foot in the door I was greeted and treated like a guest at a hotel! HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone looking around, make Bical one of your stops. We negotiated a price within the price range I was hoping for and never was there any pressure, not even from Bill the finance guy. Johan and Moses I applaud you for this ... as I said I was at MANY dealerships for weeks and these are two of the most genuine young men I've met. Having the car off the lot for 5 days, they still took my call and fixed the little issue I had. GREAT group of gentlemen. BEST car buying experience in my life! These young men have the professionalism of years gone by. THANK YOU for the best car buying experience in my lifetime. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! More
Salesman, Dan Tibbs was fine and even pretended to negotiate and "cut to the chase" with a lower than sticker price rate as the car I selected was double what I'd budgeted to spend. The rate was $2000 negotiate and "cut to the chase" with a lower than sticker price rate as the car I selected was double what I'd budgeted to spend. The rate was $2000 below sticker. When I tried to pay for the car in cash, Dan Tibbs proceeded to try and force us into financing the car. He said the only way we could get the lower price was by financing through them. He also mentioned that financing was not available for any amount under $7000. This is simply not true. NO ONE can dictate how much or if you will or won't take a loan. I called management to complain the next day and spoke with a manager name Robert. After explaining the situation and coming up with a fair price, he said he'd work on securing that number, and then never followed up. I called Chevrolet corporate to tell them of these unfair and possibly illegal bait and switch tactics and they were also uninterested in fixing the situation. Bical's finance manager Bill Quiroz also involved himself in the transaction and admitted that Bical Chevrolet receives a bonus/kickback from their bank whenever they finance a car- even if the client wants to pay cash- they will not accept it. Bill also proceeded to say that the pricing I received on the car was an online special- I had never been on their website! John Macera called me next, pretended to be unaware of the situation and mocked my voice and speech several times and was completely rude, unhelpful and annoying. This entire dealership is rude, tricky, disrespectful of women, and only interested in STEALING YOUR MONEY. More
I contacted the dealer on-line, then called and was given an appointment. However, when I got there he had an appointment and so he had to leave with instructions for me to see someone else whom I did meet. an appointment. However, when I got there he had an appointment and so he had to leave with instructions for me to see someone else whom I did meet. The fat guy was not nice, very arrogant. Did not want to negoiate price. Quite rude actually. I got fed up of him and left. Went to another dealer, got approved but they did not have the vehicle I wanted. Made another enquiry on-line and this time I was sent a quote on the vehicle I wanted. I spoke to their on-line person and made an appointment to see him. I went in and saw him and was very pleased. I got the car I wanted and not a bad price. The sales people there is not very friendly, they act like they are doing you a favour (like why are you here to disturb us - that is the way I felt when I went there)they don't realize that without us they make no money. Fortunately for me, their on-line person was quite nice and sat down and went through numbers with me over and over again until I was satisfied. When I went in to pick up the vehicle, the on-line person had to leave for an appointment and asked one of his colleagues to finalize things with me. This guy was also good. When I didn't understand something he would stop and say "I am not doing anything until you are satisfied". Was very surprised as most of these people don't care how you feel they are just interested in getting the sale done. This guy went over everything with me. I was shocked but was happy that he did that because he showed that he was not just into it for the money only. Both took time out to make sure the customer was satisfied. Walked out of there happy.
