WARNING - Dealership is a SCAM. WORST SERVICE EVER RECEIVED. POOR QUALITY SERVICE, DISRESPECTFUL, DISMISSIVE, BLATANT LIARS. If my husband and I could give zero stars, we would WORST SERVICE EVER RECEIVED. POOR QUALITY SERVICE, DISRESPECTFUL, DISMISSIVE, BLATANT LIARS. If my husband and I could give zero stars, we would. How do I even begin to sum up over a YEARS worth of headache, frustration, and disrespect. Heath from Service is extremely rude and dismissive. We have never been so disrespected by a "professional". Brought in my Denali for tail light replacement & third break light replacement under warranty AUGUST 2021. Heath told me after diagnostics was done (that I paid for) that he submitted a claim with my warranty company and ordered a tail light from GM. My husband brought in his 2017 Chevy to replace his tailgate under an insurance claim... Over a YEAR LATER still no tail light or third break light. I call every week and am told the same thing, "parts are on back order" "Yes a claim was submitted, yes it was approved" "We are waiting on parts from GM". I I was patient for the first 6 months. A few months ago I decided to ask more questions "can you send me a copy of the submitted claim, or receipt that the part was actually ordered?" and keep getting rude, round about answers - "we'll look into it, can't find that information in the system, etc". All our calls and voicemails go unanswered. I have to call multiple times a day for someone to speak to me. Decided to call the warranty company myself. NO CLAIM WAS EVER SUBMITTED BY BETTEN BAKER. When I called Betten Baker and spoke to GM Chris - no record of any claim in their system, no record of any parts being ordered. EVERY WEEK I CALL AND EVERY WEEK I AM TOLD MY PARTS ARE COMING. EVERY WEEK I'M TOLD MY CLAIM WAS SUBMITTED AND APPROVED. Chris refuses to take responsibility for his rude, disrespectful, liar of an employee Heath, and is refusing to make things right. All Chris can tell me is that "he can't change the past". No, but he can order me a tail light and cover the cost of the part and labor for OVER A YEARS worth of headache. Time is money and I spent countless hours calling Betten Baker only to be LIED to and numerous times being pulled over because my tail light is out. Why would Heath even lie about this? That's whats so infuriating. If Heath didn't want to service my vehicle fine, I'll take it elsewhere, no problem. But the fact that he lied to my face for the past YEAR while I continually get pulled over for my tail light being out is what makes me so mad. My husband is also having issues with his vehicle repair - they replaced his tailgate with the wrong bed liner and are now refusing to return his calls or fix the issue. Furthermore upon review of the bill Betten Baker charged to State Farm... Betten Baker charged State Farm for NEW parts that they never installed on the tailgate - Betten Baker took the OLD parts off the damaged tailgate and reinstalled on the new one and still billed for new parts. We know this because Jolene TOLD this to me and my husband when we went to pick up his truck and we have the old tailgate with missing parts and badges. I finally had enough and talked to Chris this afternoon, with him telling me that "I'm talking in circles about issues he doesn't have to fix". He won't even admit that his employee LIED to his customer for over A YEAR or apologize on his behalf. And now we're the "bad guys" for being upset when we call. What a joke. As of 11.16.22 ZERO resolution, no apology, no offer to make right. I don't know how this dealership has so many good reviews, but you've been warned. More

HORRIBLE dealership! I would NOT recommend them at all. Let me say first of all that I shouldn't have trusted anyone and should have taken the vehicle to a mechanic first. I was promised the vehicle went through a 12-point inspection - NOPE. Week one I found out the gas tank door wasn't operating properly. They did fix it, but I had to drive over an hour each way twice to get it done. If that inspection was done, they would have caught that and seen all that was wrong with it from the Serpentine belt, control arm with ball joint, transmission and engine leaks. Also was told that brakes were just put on. Again, NOPE. Versus fixing the brakes, they just put pads on and I had to get all this fixed. I left the dealership a voicemail to see if they were willing to make some of this right. No one bothered to return my message. More
Horrible service. SHADY. I went in for an oil change and they changed my breaks without my permission. The service worker asked me for $56 dollars and sent me off on my way. The issue arose after I asked for they changed my breaks without my permission. The service worker asked me for $56 dollars and sent me off on my way. The issue arose after I asked for a recipe. Then, the general manager comes out and says it must of been a “little miscommunication” before stating that they would send me a bill in the mail if I didn’t agree to let them take them back off. & Let’s not mention they took 4 hours to complete the service in the first place. I thought calling the cops would be the best way to handle the situation. The service worker, Heath said right in front of his GM “Go ahead, they’re not going to do anything!” & he was right. The sheriff on duty came out who was also VERY shady and had a horrible attitude did nothing to help the situation. If you can help it, don’t go to South Haven & if you don’t have a choice, stay far far away from this place. Not only do they have horrible service, they are horrible people. More

In my opinion, this dealership lacks integrity with their work and cannot be trusted to do repairs without taking shortcuts. In my opinion, you should STAY AWAY from having your car repaired at this dealership. Details: I was out of town in South Haven Michigan when my engine failed. The dealership spent three weeks of back and forth to get my car covered with GM. In my opinion, the good news with this dealership stops here. I picked the up car about four weeks after the original engine failure and drove it home (3 hour journey). The next day I noticed the car did not sound right. I contacted Betten Baker and Dana Bryant, the Service Manager at the time, told me that he couldn’t think of anything that could be wrong because it all bolts back together. In my opinion, this was a crazy statement to make given the complexity of my car (a Corvette). We agreed to have me take it to a local dealership for diagnosis. My dealership found two main issues. One, Betten Baker did not run the electrical lines correctly and that they missed a bearing when installing my new engine. This required the car to be dissembled again. Betten Baker did not want to pay my local dealership to do the work, instead they offered to tow my car back to Michigan and then deliver to me. They did agree to pay for the tear down work my local dealership did. I agreed. This repair took another roughly three weeks to complete. After three weeks of having my car back I began to have trouble. The car went into low power or limp mode. When I took the car back to my local dealership for analysis, they found that the wiring was not repaired correctly. In particular it was run too close to the exhaust and now the wiring was melted to the point it required a complete wiring harness replacement. This was also sending electrical shorts through the system and killed my battery. Further, they found that brake lines were not run correctly and this increased the risk of brake failure. They also discovered bolts missing and that ordinary hardware was used in place of factory bolts in certain spots. They provided an estimate to Betten Baker of $3,700.00 to have the repair done at their shop. Betten Baker refused to pay my local dealership to do the repairs. Instead they wanted to tow it up a second time, fix it themselves, and tow it back to me. Given the issues discovered by my local dealership, that twice Betten Baker had a chance to fix this right, and the issues could have caused brake failures, I felt, in my opinion, there was no way I could trust them to do the repairs without taking further shortcuts. After going back and forth with GM for a month finally Betten Baker agreed to the work. But when my local dealership disassembled the car, they found further issues. More missing bolts, low coolant, and more wiring melted to certain parts requiring replacement. They estimated another $3,000.00 to fix all remaining issues. Again, Betten Baker refused to pay. It took over a second month with back and forth with GM to finally get this repair done through my local dealership. GM had to step in and authorize the repairs themselves. With the original engine replacement repair this was about four months my car was out of commission. As I said, in my opinion, this dealership is incompetent, cannot be trusted to do repairs without shortcuts, and lacks integrity. In my opinion, you should STAY AWAY from them. More
False advertisement My wife and I went there because we saw a vehicle we were looking for at a good price. When we ask to test drive it, they required our social security My wife and I went there because we saw a vehicle we were looking for at a good price. When we ask to test drive it, they required our social security number for that, just to test drive. So we take it for a test drive. And then when we get back we have to wait well over 30 minutes for the salesman to get to us, even though we just had a few questions (the gentleman that helped us was new). When he finally gets there, he tells us a price that is much higher than the advertisement on their website shows. When asking about that price he said "It must not be updated in the system." Even though it was their website. And then he says IF he can get it to that price would we be interested. No. That price should be where it starts. What a scam. We later found out they ran our credit, without our permission, terrible. More
