The Bertera Subaru dealership is a great environment: friendly, relaxed, well organized, and clean. Dan is very friendly and has a refreshing "no pressure" type of attitude. Andrea went above and beyond my expectations. She alwasy greeted me with a smile, and went above and beyond to assist me in any way possible. Andrea didn't have to be "pushy" or sell me a million things, she showed pride in being part of Bertera Subaru, and in a straight forward way gave me simple and understandable reasons why Subaru was the best choice for me. Andrea understood exactly what I was looking for, and didn't have to oversell anything. Unlike some of the other dealers, where I was constantly bombarded with numerous phone calls, and rough and pushy sales tactics - Andrea and the company of Bertera Subaru treated me like a "guest" in always offering information, and assistance even when I hadn't decided to purchase a Subaru. Andrea listened to both my father and I and understood that, as I am a young person purchasing myvery first car, I wasn't interested in a fancy car - and they offered us advice on how I could afford a new car on my own. I had such a great experience at Bertera Subaru, and I would highly recommend it to anyone! And I of course would recommend people to see Andrea - her personality and her approach to sales is what made me come back a second time! Bertera Subaru is certainly the way to go!! More
I cannot thank Dan Leary and Rob Camarata enough for making the purchase of my 2012 Legacy a reality. As a single women, I have always found it difficult to go looking at cars as the pressure is always making the purchase of my 2012 Legacy a reality. As a single women, I have always found it difficult to go looking at cars as the pressure is always placed on you to purchase. I never felt that way at Bertera or with Dan, he listened to what I was looking for in a car and found me one actually in the showroom with more options than I was looking for and between him and Rob they worked out the figures and made this whole process seemless. I was not looking to purchase the day I went in to look but they way I was treated, no pressure to buy or selling me items in the car or for the car that I did not want or need were a huge plus to the sale. I would highly recommend both Dan and Rob along with Bertera when looking to purchase a Subaru. The highlight of this all is the after phone call I received from Dan to see how I liked the car and if it was approved by all three of my children....and yes it was, great job Dan, Rob and Bertera Subaru. The experience of buying our car could not be any easier or more pleasant. Bill was a great saleman, friendly and pleasant to deal with. This is the second Subaru I bought from Bertera subaru and both times have been great. I thought the first time was an easy experience but this one was even easier. I would recommend Bertera Subaru because they are very professional and have a very friendly, no-pressure sales staff. Bill Johnson went out of his way to answer every question that I had and along with R professional and have a very friendly, no-pressure sales staff. Bill Johnson went out of his way to answer every question that I had and along with Rob Camarata, made my purchase of a new Forester an easy and stress free event. The staff at Bertera have been wonderful about keeping in touch and following up after buying the car. They are willing to answer any questions and make communicating a meaningful experience. I would definitely purchase another car through this dealership and would recommend it to anyone looking for a laid back and hassle-free buying experience. More
Purchased a 2009 WRX in April 2011. Didn't get the price I was looking for, but I drove all the way up from Jersey so they had me locked down and they knew it. Not complaining though because it wasn't a bad I was looking for, but I drove all the way up from Jersey so they had me locked down and they knew it. Not complaining though because it wasn't a bad deal. Competitive with financing as well. My sales guy was Carlos Rios. Although he no longer works there, there were distinct positives and negatives I had in dealing with him. Positives: super friendly guy, did his best to make me feel comfortable and make a deal, drove the car down to me the following week after the paperwork went through. Although I believe it is Bertera policy (he didn't up and decide to drive it himself), it was no insignificant distance and I appreciated it. Negatives: lack of communication. Car arrived a few days later than we had decided. Spare keys that he promised would be mailed to me were never mailed to me... a YEAR later. I had been in touch with them repeatedly but since Carlos left the dealer, nobody knew where the keys were (if they still existed) and people kept dropping the ball. I finally got in touch with another employee last week and they resolved this issue immediately, to my satisfaction. So I'm going with an OK experience overall. I can say with confidence that this is probably a dealership I'd recommend... if you don't live 200+ miles away. More
