We were very pleased with the first one we purchased but working with Nuno on the second one and with Tom in the finance department made this experience even better than the first. No games just honest business which I appreciated. This is the first time I have ever taken the time to do something like this but I really felt like Nuno deserves it. Normally it is just the bad we hear about. It feels good to say thanks for the great job done by him and Bertera. More

The environment at Bertera Subaru was good. The atmosphere was clean and and well kept. Parking was very tight and may need some expansion or rearrangement. The staff was very accommodating and easy to get along with. Josh, in my humble opinion, was as professional as they get. He was honest, informed and made my wife and I feel right at home. Purchasing a car is usually a very negative experience for me, since I like to over investigate everything. Overall my experience was pleasant. I enjoyed working with John McGahan, he was attentive without being pushy and he was accomodating to my schedule. I am pleased with our purchase. I am happy that Subaru was willing to meet a more competitive finacing rate but I wish that it hadn't been necessary to go that extra step in order to learn of their willingness to do so. The closing went smoothly despite a $100 differential in the final numbers. It was small money in relation to the overall deal and we agreed upon a 50/50 split but no one wants to deal with that just before signing. The car was delivered in beautiful condition and time wwas taken to explain all its features. I had mentioned that I wanted crossbars and that I would pay for them separately. That got lost in the transaction so will need to make another trip to the dealiership to make payment for those and have them installed. Not a big deal as John was heading out on vacation and was trying to get the car to us before he did so. More

I run a $4 million a year retail store, and deal with commissioned sales people on a daily basis. I'm always looking for ways to help them improve how they interact with customers as well as how they pre commissioned sales people on a daily basis. I had a great experience getting my first new car here. I was prepared to face off with someone difficult, sleazy, patronizing, etc given all the horror stories I'd heard from friends and family when they we was prepared to face off with someone difficult, sleazy, patronizing, etc given all the horror stories I'd heard from friends and family when they were buying cars, but I had no such problems. I brought along my husband because I was afraid of being treated like an idiot, but I needn't have worried. Joe Bucko was the salesman I worked with and he was awesome, totally nice and respectful, didn't give me the runaround when I told him what I wanted to pay (I had done research on consumer reports so felt pretty comfortable with what I was asking), and made the process bizarrely stress-free. There was a little negotiation of course, but way less than I thought I'd have to deal with and not at all uncomfortable. He also gave me a reasonable trade-in price. The other nice thing was that they gave me a much better rate than I expected. Triple A was offering a lower quote than they were so they said they'd match it, and when I went back to pick up the car and sign the papers it was even lower than that. The only stressful thing for me was knowing which packages to buy that the finance guy was trying to sell me. That was more my ignorance than anything, as any dealership will offer those things and try to sell them to you. My advice would be to decide before you go in whether you want the maintenance package, extended warranty, etc. More
