I had been dealing with Andrea since August on getting a 2013 xv crosstrek. She kept me in the loop as to when it would be coming in. She was great at trying to get me the best trade in on my 2007 outback s 2013 xv crosstrek. She kept me in the loop as to when it would be coming in. She was great at trying to get me the best trade in on my 2007 outback sedan. When the car was ready to pick up she took time to explain all the features of the car and the book for the car. She called later to see how I was enjoying my new car. She was a great persomn to deal with and I would recommend her to any one I know that want's to buy a Subaru. More
Car buying is not something we look forward to. But our experience exceeded our expectations. We stopped in to take a look at a few cars and met Bill Johnson. He went over the 2 vehicles were were interested in, spoke about how Subaru vehicles are made, and provided us with some printed materials. We went home to review the materials, did some checking on the internet and soon called Bill back to arrange a test drive. The next Friday, we test drove 2 vehicles (in the pouring rain) and a few hours later were the proud owners of a new 2013 Subaru Outback! Everything went so well, we never looked or shopped elsewhere (even though we had some interest in the Honda CR-V & Hyundai Santa Fe). Bill made the decision very easy! He was in constant communication with us throughout the entire process. There was never any pressure to buy (unlike some of our past experiences). So for all of these reasons, I would highly recommend Bill & Bertera to any of my friends & family. More
Stan was easy no pressure sailman. I knew what I wanted for a car and Stan answered all my questions even via e=mailwhen he was not at work. Josh was very straight forward and factual. There wasn't any of the usual car salesman run around. I was very impressed with him and the entire dealership staff that we met. My wife and I wanted to buy a car from Bertera because she loved the service department and the dealership is near her job. We no longer needed two cars, we wanted to have one medium size car, the Outback she loved the service department and the dealership is near her job. We no longer needed two cars, we wanted to have one medium size car, the Outback. I had gone with my car for the appraisal a couple of days before and met with Stan. We made arrangement to bring my wife's car after work, I called Stan to confirm our appointment at that time he told me he had to leave but he would leave my information with another salesperson, name Joe. When we arrived Joe told us that Stan did not leave him any information about my trades and he said that he didn't have time to work with us because he had a delivery. We stood around the showroom until Joe passed us off to Gil, he at no idea about my trades or what type of vehicle we were looking to buy; we had to start the horse trading all over again. This back and forth went on for over two hours and finally we were not offered the amount that were originally discussed. After two hours of negotiating Gil told us that he didn't have the vehicle with the option we wanted on the lot but he did have one at the port and it would be at the dealership in three to five days but if we wanted and didn't want any one else to come in and buy it we had to leave a deposit'. We left a credit card deposit with Gil, and I told Gil when I left the deposit, and I told Gil that if I find the car someplace else and a better offer for my trade I would be back the next day for my deposit. At the time we left the deposit we informed Gil that we had a discount certificate from a profession organization and we asked Gil if the dealership would honor it, he yes they would. I told him that the certificate was made out in another dealers name, he said it would not be a problem, he would fix it so it would work. I called the professional organization and asked if I could have a new discount certificated with Bertera dealership name on it, she told me that a name change would have to come from Subaru of America and if they didn't approve the change the existing certificate would be void because you can only work with one dealer. I went back to Bertera and I met with Stan the original salesperson and I told him that I want my deposit back, Stan told me that we would go see Sean, the sales manager. We met with Sean, he asked why I wanted my money back, I told him what I had been told by the person I spoke with at the Professional Organization, that if the name change was not approved the present certificate could be voided. And I told him another dealer had the car on the lot we wanted without waiting. He started to yell and scream about how much time he had spent working with us and the certificate was no good anyway, and he had gotten more money for my trades, now I am walking away leaving money on the table, they he jump up an walked through the dealership yelling sarcastically that he hope my wife and I are happy leaving money on the table, and we sold him out. And to tell my wife that we left money on the table. I will never go back to that dealership nor will I recommend that dealership to anyone. More
After researching several differant makes and models I went to Bertera Subaru to look at the new Imprezza. I was lucky enough to have Max Salvador greet me and show me some new cars. He was extremely help went to Bertera Subaru to look at the new Imprezza. I was lucky enough to have Max Salvador greet me and show me some new cars. He was extremely helpful, knowegable, patient, and professional. He took the time to answer my questions and never once was pushy. When we went for a test drive he even drove to a quiet area for me so I could drive the car without worrying about traffic ! After I had decided to buy this car he kept me up to date on what was happening each step of the way, while I waited for the financing, when to pick up the car, etc. I was extremely satisfied with this whole process. My last new car, at a differant dealer, was an unpleasant experiance and I was worried that would happen again.I am happy to say it did NOT. I would highly recomend anyone going to Bertera Subaru to ask for Max, you will be as happy as I am. By the way,,, my new car is AWSOME ! More

When we arrived at the dealership, we were pleasantly greeted by Sales Consultant, Max Salvador. He was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and he had a wonderful sense of humor. My friend expressed which vehicle that she was interested in and Max immediately understood what it was that she was looking for. She found the vehicle which she knew that she could not only envision herself driving, but also hopefully owning. So with that being said, and after Max had clearly explained some of the features and demonstrated how each worked, it was off on a test drive that we went. Well, everything worked out as my friend had envisioned and she bought the car and she absolutely loves it! While my friend was the one who was actually car shopping that one fine Sunday afternoon, I was scanning the dealership lot myself, and much to my surprise a 2011 Subaru Outback had caught my eye. Because of my friend's wonderful sales experience with Sales Consultant, Max Salvador and his professional demeanor, friendliness, knowledgeability, and wonderful sense of humor, I was inclined to return to Bertera Subaru and look at and test drive that car which caught my eye. The moment that I sat in the car after Max had retrieved the keys to open it up I thought to myself...SOLD! I bought the car and, I too just absolutely love it! My greatest thank you to our Sales Consultant, Max Salvador for making our experience at Bertera Subaru an awesome one! I would highly recommend anyone who is in the market for a new car to go to Bertera Subaru and ask for Max! Moral of the story: Be careful when you bring your friends along with you to go car shopping... You may just end up buying one too!! :-) More
I bought a WRX from Jeff at Bertera. Jeff was easy to talk to, not at all pushy and gave us a good price without any unpleasant dickering. This is the way buying a car should be--simple, friendly and quick. After buying the car, Jeff was on top of everything to make sure that it was ready for me to drive away asap. He also followed up with us several times to ensure that everything was okay. Jeff and everyone else we met at Bertera were totally professional and friendly. I am pleased to strongly recommend Jeff and Bertera. More

After an unpleasant visit to Steve Lewis Subaru, I went to Bertera and bought a new 2013 Impreza from Andrea McCorkindale. She was knowlegeable about the dealership's inventory, accurate about when the new to Bertera and bought a new 2013 Impreza from Andrea McCorkindale. She was knowlegeable about the dealership's inventory, accurate about when the new models would arrive, and fairly represented my trade-in to management. She facilitated the sale process, making sure I got the additional items I paid for and scheduling a Sunday appointment for me with the dealership's finance officer. After the sale, she contacted to fix the rear bumper protection which the service department incorrectly applied. I recommend this dealership without reservation and Andrea in particular. More
