I never felt like I was getting a high pressure sales pitch to get me to buy on the spot. I've bought new cars before but never experienced the ease with which the deal was made. Keith made me a good offer up front based on numbers from KBB.com. I asked for a few extra bucks off and deal done. No haggling back and forth. Keith knew quite a bit about the car I was interested in; I asked a lot of questions about all the options. He had answers immediately. I would certainly recommend anyone looking to buy a Subaru ask for Keith. I cannot give an opinion on the dealership's service department since I have not brought the car in for its first service yet. However, what I saw of the front office and service area/customer waiting room didn't ring any alarm bells. The place looked clean and organized. In short, Keith made the purchase about as pleasurable experience as one could expect. More

She was the ONLY Subaru salesperson in the region that didn't give me a hard time about conducting almost every aspect of buying a car over the phone. No games, no lies, just the facts. Rich was a great help too. I tell ya...if it wasn't for the excellent service provided at Bertera Subaru I would have never bought my brand new Forester on my own. I would have had someone else do it for me or I wouldn't have bought one at all. I knew I wanted another when we went car shopping in my 11 year old Forester with 208,000 miles. I wanted an Outback this time because it has a bit more leg room in the back seat. My husband wanted me to test drive a Legacy. Keith was very patient and knowledgeable about both cars. We test drove both cars and ultimately decided on the Outback. I had a specific color and interior I wanted. They didn't have it on the lot but Keith located the specific model I requested in short time. I feel that I received a good price for my trade in, had a great experience with Keith Goldsmith and Tom, the Finance Manager. I would highly recommend Bertera in West Springfield to anyone who is Subaru shopping and wants to get facts, no pressure, and a great car! More

We have purchased cars from five different dealerships over the last 30 years and this was by far the most pleasant group of people we have ever dealt with. Dan was more than helpful and he went the extra mile to really help us and have the car all set for pick up. He explained everything in detail. Tom was also great to work with regarding the finances. We can't say enough. Even the salesmen that we did not work with were friendly. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car! Thank you Bertera! More

This however was not the case with Keith Goldsmith. He was as no pressure as they come. He wanted to know what i wanted, and didn't try to cram some car they had in stock down my throat. I informed him that I was looking to buy a 2014 XV Crosstrek in dark gray, and from then on he made sure i got the car that i wanted. After the car was located, he kept me well informed on when the car would be there and on all other information that i needed. Even after all the paperwork was done and i was driving the car away, he would call just to check on on how things were going. This was hands down the best new car buying experience I've ever had. More
No pressure, pleasant experience I went into the dealership having no clue what type of car I wanted to buy and remained just as indecisive throughout the entire process. Tyler was patient and helpful as I test drove car after car (even two of the same car in different colors!). After about 2 hours I still could not make a decision and Tyler in no way tried to force my hand in the usual car salesman way. He simply laid out the information and worked to give me the best deal possible. I ended up with a white Subaru Crosstrek and Tyler made sure the vehicle was ready to go the next day, keeping me updated about his progress. He made the car buying process completely painless, which I could not appreciate more! More

I test drove so many cars and Keith was patient and informative. Staff offered support and reassurance in spite of my poor credit and was able to get me a car that met within my criterias. Ie Used, older, lower mileage and lower interest rate. I am so please with my Subaru Forester, AKA "LULU"! Once I brought the car home, Keith called to make sure I was pleased! Very wonderful experience! More
