Ask for Tyler ... he's the greatest! Just purchased a 2015 Legacy. I previously purchased a 2012 Outback from Bertera in Hartford. I am an older woman/driver and when I became aware of all the new technology (EyeSight & Blind Spot Detection among others) I decided I wanted a new Subaru with all the "bells and whistles." I talked to my former Bertera Subaru Hartford salesperson, told him what I wanted, told him I was ready to purchase, just let me know when a car with my options/color was available and I would be there. That was December 2014 and I never heard from him. When my Outback reached 30K miles, I decided I had waited 4 months to hear from Hartford salesman with no results and made contact with Bertera Subaru of West Springfield. From my initial contact with Nicole (because I used my company's auto buying discount program) to my salesperson Tyler Landry, it has been an awesome experience. First of all is the responsiveness and second is the trust. I put down a $500 deposit which Tyler explained would be refunded to me if I decided not to go through with the deal. He found me my exact car combination in 1 day from an upcoming shipment of cars coming from the factory in Indiana to another dealership. In the interim Tyler kept me updated and we discussed (and negotiated) on trade-in value, a further discount on my (already discounted) new car and the anticpated financing . My online credit application was easy to complete. In 30 days my car was delivered and ready for pick-up. The conversation with Tom, the finance person went smoothly with no surprises (except pleasant ones) and both Tom and Tyler spent time reviewing the add-on programs I might be interested in. At no time did I feel pressured and the whole experience was much less stressful then the last couple of cars I had purchased. My salesperson at Bertera Hartford lost out on a chance to have a repeat customer, but it was definitely my win getting to work with Tyler on this buying experience. I would definitely recommend Bertera Subaru of West Springfield and be sure to ask for Tyler for a great buying and customer service experience. More

We are overwhelmed with these employees On our way to pick up our new 2015 Outback, we had a car accident (4 Cars) on I91 n, luckily only the bumper was damaged, we were ok to drive my 2000 On our way to pick up our new 2015 Outback, we had a car accident (4 Cars) on I91 n, luckily only the bumper was damaged, we were ok to drive my 2000 Outback back to Bertera where I bought it 15 years ago. ( Loved that car). When we arrived at Bertera they were closed ( which we knew), but we didn't know where else to drive my car too. When we got there Keith & Stan went a step above .We were overwhelmed by the way they took care of us. They even offered us a ride home back to Ct, but we had a ride coming to get us, so they let us stay inside until our ride was there. The next day Rich Santoni actually had someone deliver my new car to my driveway for me. This company has many Great employees and I can't thank them all enough!!! I've been doing my homework for about a year knowing this day was coming. I wanted a wagon/utility type car that was good in the snow and didn't cost a fortune. I analyzed every product out there from Ford & GMC to Volvo & Volkswagons. I read Consumer Reports and Abnalyzed Kelly Blue Book for my trade. The verdict: the Outback was absolutely the best choice for me. Best value for the dollar hands down. I went to Bertera and spoke with Shawn Sullivan. My husband was away for military duty and I wanted to know someone would treat me fairly because I was car shopping without my husband. Shawn assured me he would personally make sure I was put in good hands. I worked with Joe Bucko and he couldn't have been more patient with all of my questions and concerns. Tom Quesnel handled our financing and what a great guy. He was very organized, spoke in layman' terms describing my options and was also very patient with me. Lastly, there was an upbeat, friendly energy about the place. I observed Bertera employees working hard (the place was packed) but having a good time and even joking with each other a bit. Probably the most important thing is that I LOVE MY OUTBACK! I said to my husband the other day, "It just keeps getting better!" This car rocks. The power lift gate is a must! A comparably equipped Ford or GMC would have cost me $8-10,000 more. My husband is very grateful Bertera took good care of me, put me in a great, safe car and didn't overcharge me. More

I had gone online to look for cars with certain criteria in mind, and I had a list of cars that I wanted to look at in person. My parents had bought a car from Bertera Subaru a couple of years ago and had good things to say about their experience so I started there, although I was only planning on looking, not buying at the time. When we (my sister and father had come along) got there I was looking around and Keith approached us to see if he could help. I gave my list to Keith, and he tracked down the car that was at the top of my list. Keith answered all of our many questions easily and patiently. I took it for a drive, and Keith answered more questions for me while discussing my possible trade in and options. I liked the car and the experience so much that I ultimately decided to buy it. Keith was wonderful in walking me through the process and following up to make sure we were on the same page as to what the next steps were, and to make the process as easy as possible for me. I would recommend Keith and Bertera Subaru to anyone looking for a car. More
