I gave them the registration along with the keys. They did not pass my car because of the foggy front headlights. They were going to charge me an insane amount to fix them. Fine I will.go and get other quotes or buy the.kit.myself. I paid for the oil change and asked if the registration was placed on the seat. The girl said yes. It was not on the seat so I.went backed in and told them. Well.NO.ONE claimed any.responsibility for finding it, kept me waiting until for about 15 minutes until.I told them I was still waiting and couldn't stay there all day. No one was willing.to.admit they lost it or at least.help me replace it. In fact NO.ONE even apologized to me for the.error. I had to demand they pay for the duplicate registration which wasn't even offered to me in the first place. Do yourself a favor and have your vehicle serviced elsewhere. More

I PURCHASED A VEHICLE FROM BERTERA LAST YEAR WITH A 100,000 MILE WARRANTY, MY LOCAL DEALER TOLD ME A REPAIR WAS NOT COVERED, I CALLED BERTERA AND SPOK I PURCHASED A VEHICLE FROM BERTERA LAST YEAR WITH A 100,000 MILE WARRANTY, MY LOCAL DEALER TOLD ME A REPAIR WAS NOT COVERED, I CALLED BERTERA AND SPOKE TO ROSS IN SERVICE AND TOLD HIM HOW UNHAPPY I WAS THAT THE REPAIR WAS NOT COVERED AND HE TOLD ME IT SHOULD BE AND TO CALL GM DIRECTLY AND GET A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF MY WARRANTY, I DID, AND IT IS COVERED! I have bought my car at this dealer in Palmer and about that process I don't have nothing to say...But about the service, that's totally a different story! I had a problem with the drivers door, so I took that process I don't have nothing to say...But about the service, that's totally a different story! I had a problem with the drivers door, so I took the car to the dealer so that they could se the problem. So, 30 minutes later with the car at the service, I was told that the door actuator was broken and to fix the problem they would need to order a new one from Infiniti because they didn't had one in the moment ... So they told me the price to see what I wanted to do yada yada... For that part (the actuator) 700.00 plus 2 hour labor 120 an hour, they would give me my car fixed. I didn't like it the way all those numbers came up, but still I decided to go through and payed for a 45 minute service 120 dollars and had them order the part needed ...After two days off no one calling me from Bertera about the part, I decided to put my hands at work and try to fix the problem myself (WE NEVER NO...). And what a big surprise I fixed the door in less then 30 minutes with something really simple with the door handle.(HOW I FIXED NOT REALLY IMPORTANT FOR THIS ISSUE) . I didn't had to buy anything, since nothing was broken with the door and I only toke 30 minutes because I was not familiar with this line of WORK...I did the total off 3 services in my car (oil changes etc. ) small stuff at Berteras since a purchase the car there, and I start having my doubts now about the synthetic oil that I ask for, the cabine filters changed or not? I mean a lot of stuff ...That's all I gotta say for now. More
I have a 2002 Impala that I had brought to Bertera Chevy a month ago for the first time to try and diagnose a recurring issue with my lights that wasn't happening at that time. Unfortunately, they were not a month ago for the first time to try and diagnose a recurring issue with my lights that wasn't happening at that time. Unfortunately, they were not able to get the problem to duplicate although they made a valiant effort and they did not charge me for the effort, which I was pleasantly surprised by and grateful that they didn't charge me. I remembered that kindness today when I had developed a problem with my car last night that still was happening this morning where it didn't seem to want to move very fast even though the engine was revving just fine and I was afraid I might have a transmission issue. I called and spoke to Jeoff Hoyt, who was very friendly and told me that if I could drive the vehicle there now, then they could take a look at it immediately for me. I limped it there, left the car to be diagnosed and asked Jeoff to call me when they found something out. Within 15 min. of arriving home from dropping it off, I got a call from Jeoff telling me that my car needed to have the catalytic converter replaced on it. He offered me two options, the second of which was an after-market part from Napa that if he could get it there, he could have the vehicle repaired before they closed. I gave him the go ahead and an hour later, I received a call saying it was all fixed and had been tested and was ready to be picked up. We discussed the price, and I found the total of the bill to be very acceptable. Twenty minutes later, I arrived to the dealership, and I must pause to say that as I walked in, all of the employees I encountered were very friendly and said hello to me, which I thought was very nice. The manager from the sales floor, who I am sorry to say I didn't catch his name, came in to help Jeoff process my checks and was very helpful and nice to me. I thanked them all and I do wish them a very Happy Thanksgiving at Bertera Chevrolet! I cannot remember the last time I was able to call a dealership, get my car in on the spot, have it diagnosed and repaired in such a short time for such a reasonable price. You made my and my husband's lives much easier as he does most of our repairs and with Thanksgiving around the corner, we were depending on this vehicle to be available to us to travel with, and thanks to the wonderful care that Jeoff Hoyt and the Service department showed me and my vehicle, our plans will not have to be changed. I had an issue with an issue with the braking system on my truck after replacing the pads and rotors. I took my truck to Bertera Service Department with much confidence. It appeared to be simple fix and a my truck after replacing the pads and rotors. I took my truck to Bertera Service Department with much confidence. It appeared to be simple fix and a replacement of a sensor. I took it home and drove it the next day only to find that the issue was still happening. It's as if my brakes were engaging while I was driving. I had to have it towed back to Bertera in which Jeoff cordially agreed to take an in depth look at what the root cause what. This time it logically appeared to be that the calipers had over extended the pistons and were engaging against the rotors, so we agreed to replace them. After they were replaced, again I took it home and all seemed well. The next morning I drove it less than a mile and the brakes locked up again. Again I had to tow it back there. This time I was in constant contact with Jeoff and Ron, which I'm sure frustrated the xxxx out of them lol. However, I never once got an attitude or a sign of dismay from either of them. After having my truck for another 2 days, they finally narrowed it down to the Master Cylinder and replaced it. They drove it for quite a while, making sure that they exceeded the average mileage that it took me to drive it prior to the issue occurring. Finally the problem was resolved. Ron had mentioned that he would do everything that he could to make sure that it was fixed and it wouldn't break my bank. Jeoff and Ron were "lifesavers". Being unemployed with kids and having to utilize my savings for a lot of the cost made me worry. However, they were more than fair on the prices they gave me and always gave service with a smile. All in all I would go back to them for any of my repair issues and I will more than likely go back there to purchase another vehicle from them in the future. Needed a second key made and they told me to come in. Jeoff Hoyt programed the key right away and very courteous and attentive to any question I had. Also, our salesman, Jeremy Herbik came right up to us, brought us to the service department, introduced us to the staff and again was very personable. Although I think the hourly rate for the mechanic is steep, Jeoff kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle, which is very important to me. I did not have to call him. He bends over backwards to make sure that appointments are honored, the work is done as specified, and any estimates are really on the mark ( no oops factor).
