They were by far the best and easiest car dealer to work with. They listen to my needs and my issues and were able to get me into a new car at a good price and a good loan when other dealers just couldn't b with. I would highly suggest anyone to go there for a new or use car. More
My experience at Bertera was a positive one. We purchased a new pick-up truck from Brian Hall and were very satisfied. He knows his product and it was not a pressure filled sale.We took our time and did not a new pick-up truck from Brian Hall and were very satisfied. He knows his product and it was not a pressure filled sale.We took our time and did not feel rushed. I would recommend this dealership. We have purchased cars in the past and it was a tension filled proccess, but not here.In going over the paperwork Brian answered all questions clearly and honestly.Everyone was very helpful. More
well heres my review from real person whos been screwed over more times then I cant count..its long but worth reading..enjoy.. I was trying to get a 2006 nissan murano, I had gone to over 10 used car de over more times then I cant count..its long but worth reading..enjoy.. I was trying to get a 2006 nissan murano, I had gone to over 10 used car dealerships all denying me a car loan. My credit is not the best but it is not the worst. I contact robert canning online and filled out a credit app. He called back saying he got me approved for a conditional loan, which I was surprised but scheduled a visit. Bertera is almost 2 hours from my home. When I got there the dealership is located on a large hill with many vehicles. The office was very comfortable with couches and big screen tv's. Everytime I visit the dealership there is a wait because of the high volume of customers, which is not a bad thing...but they definitely make it comfortable for you. After the wait rob introduced me you a car sales man jorden, who had just joined bertera. Jorden had me fill out a credit app with my name and address already filled out. Which is when I started to think things were strange because I thought I had already filled this out online and thought my credit had already been approved. But since I made the long drive I just went through it. He asked how much money I could put down, I only could do $500 that day. He asked for my payment...which is when I got very nervous about giving money to someone who hadn't gotten me approved yet. But I ended up giving him my card and sending him on his way. After waiting about an hour jorden said why dont we send you home and give you a call when we hear something back from a promising bank. I got nervous again saying im not leaving without my $500. Can you tell I dont trust car dealerships? After talking with Carl who worked in the financing he assured me that I could get my money back if everything fell through. So I left. The next day I called Carl and he said I was all set. I responded well what am I all set with..he explained that he got me approved for a loan but didnt have the details in front of him at that time. so I asked if he could call me back when he had them in front of him. So I waited until the next morning, never got a call so i contacted jorden to ask him what was going on. Jorden explained that he would need my insurance info. I didnt have it on me but told him to google geico (by the way geico is awful) info and give me a call back when he had some details. Once again no one called so I called later that evening kind of upset becuase no one was calling me back. I asked what was going on and jorden said that im all set with everything but he couldn't give me the loan info over the phone because of the privacy act. So i went down the next day...when I got there Carl showed me the loan info with a fair interest rate and payments. I was very excited but was looking for someone to come out of the closet and say april fools! lol The next day jorden delivered the car and we registered it in my name! woo hoo. So let me tell you I was so prepared to get screwed over because that is what im used to when it comes to car dealerships. Bertera seemed a little sketchy at first but they are just more relaxed in these situations. The 3 I delt with rob, carl and jorden where all very helpful and nice. None of them had that awful salesmen mentality giving you those cheesy one liners!! lol. After going to so many dealerships (dedham auto mall, bournes auto center, richards motors, toyota of nashua just to name a few)none of them worked as hard to get me a loan. Toyota for one pushed me around for over a month trying to get me a loan where Bertera got me one in less then 24 hours. oh, and the car of course.. 2006 nissan murano s pearl with 45,000 miles was $16,877, less than the booked price runs awesome and looks immaculate! I also was able to purchase a 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty on top of the 60 day warranty bertera offers. So I hope this helps anyone deciding on where to go for there next car. Bertera is awesome, little weird but the end outcome is what I wanted. could be happier :-) More
I found the car I was looking for on their web site and called to make sure they still had the car. I explained I lived in New Hampshire and that I did not want to play games. They were excellent to deal w called to make sure they still had the car. I explained I lived in New Hampshire and that I did not want to play games. They were excellent to deal with and followed up with all details of the deal. I got the money I was looking to get for my trade and I paid a fair price for the car I purchased. They even delivered my new car to me in NH to save me the drive. I would recommend this dealer to my friends and family and will probably buy my next car from them. Jay and Frank were both great to deal with. More
I saw a car That Bertera Chevy had advertised on Ebay. It was the exact model & color that I was looking for. I called he number in the ad & got a salesman who connected me with Dominick the Sales Manager. I was the exact model & color that I was looking for. I called he number in the ad & got a salesman who connected me with Dominick the Sales Manager. I feel that I had a fairly difficult deal for them to work with. I was trading a 2007 Civic EX for a 2008 Civic SI. I wanted to negotiate the asking price on the car that Bertera had while still getting a fair trade in value on my 07 Civic. After a short while, Dominick & I came to a very fair agreement. I was treated like a valued customer. I rarely see that anymore. Dominick & his team went above & beyond what I feel would be the norm. The car was even delivered to me in NY (2 hours away) at no additional charge. I am giving Bertera Chevrolet & Dominick the highest possible rating because they treated me as if I had been dealing with them for years. I will buy from them again & I will recommend them highly to my friends & family. More
I went to Bertera Chevrolet in Palmer looking for a used pickup, after walking around the lot for some time I went inside looking for a salesman. I met Ed(never caught his last name), who was pleasant to d pickup, after walking around the lot for some time I went inside looking for a salesman. I met Ed(never caught his last name), who was pleasant to deal with, and told him what I was looking for. I was looking for a specific vehicle I had seen online, but had an open mind and figured I would look at some different trucks. Ed was not sure if the truck I was looking for was at this lot, or somewhere else(fair enough, it is a large dealership), so he looked into what was there. He found a newer, more expensive truck that I was going to love. I was hesitant regarding the price, but he assured me that because it was a newer truck, they could get me a lower interest rate, so the payments would be close to the same. Sounded reasonable so I took it for a test drive and put a deposit on it. I was told a deal should be all set, I just needed to bring in my trade-in. The next day, I spoke with Ed, he told me I got an approval, and would be happy with this deal, and when could I bring in my trade. I was planning on going there again on Saturday morning(this was a Thursday). The next day I got a call from Jason(again, never caught a last name), again I was told that I would be happy with the deal they were giving me, and they needed to see my trade, my plans had changed, so I told him I could come in that afternoon. When I got there Jason started to go over the great deal..... He told us that they would give me what I wanted for my trade, and my payments were going to be $150 over what I told them was my maximum monthly payment! He apologized, said he never saw the salesman's notes regarding what we wanted to pay. He left the office for a couple of minutes, came back with another no good offer, again he left, again another bad offer. I then told him how disappointed I was with the lack of communication going on in their business, and that I would take my business elsewhere. The next morning I looked at my bank statement only to find they had cashed my check for the deposit, I've bought a few cars in the past, and have never heard of a dealership cashing a deposit check before delivering the vehicle, but I guess that's how they work. In short after calling and speaking with Jason, he assured me to fax him a copy of the cancelled check and they would send me a refund check in the mail, plus an extra $25 to cover my wasted time and gas. He told me I should have it by Wednesday. I received my refund 2 weeks later, after emailing a copy of the cancelled check again. Also found the deal I was looking for, I spent less on a similar vehicle with a dealership that values their customers. More
I had a great experience. Brian was professional, honest and the best part he did not pressure us in buying the car. In my opinion he is a number one salesman. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Ber and the best part he did not pressure us in buying the car. In my opinion he is a number one salesman. I was told this would take approximately 4/23/10 I returned at 8:30 AM to have new tires put on the vehicle, which was part of the sales agreement. I was told this would take approximately 2 hours, however the vehicle was not ready until 5:30 PM. On 4/27/10 I returned to the dealer for service as the '!" light was now on, which according the service department had something to do with the tires. It's now 4/28/10 and the "!" is now on again! I have spoken to the service center and Mike T. both of which have told me the car can not been seen until Monday 5/3/10. I requested a car in the mean time as Mike T clearly stated that it was a safety issue, which they have denied this request. Reason for the denial- "it's a safety issue but not a major safety issue"- his words not mine... More
I traveled to Bertera in MA from CT as the result of an ad I saw online. It was well worth the trip because I had a very good experience at Bertera. I was met by the general manager (sales mgr)who greete ad I saw online. It was well worth the trip because I had a very good experience at Bertera. I was met by the general manager (sales mgr)who greeted me and we talked briefly before he introduced me to the salesman who would be handling my purchase. My salesman was honest, direct, and not pushy. We had a "normal" conversation about life issues and finally got around to purchase a vehicle. I told him exactly what I was looking for, what I wanted to spend, etc. Less than a week later, I bought a 2008 Grand Prix from Bertera on only my 2nd visit, and I would definitely return to purchase another vehicle in the future.
