Absolute worst service center I’ve ever experienced. I bought a 2021 Chevy Colorado from Beaty Chevy. Purchasing experience was fine. They sold me on the included oil change package with the purchase. The only thing they didn’t tell me was that it is nearly impossible to get oil changes there. Often times they will be booked out several weeks. When I could finally get an appointment it always took several hours at minimum for them to change the oil. One time the oil was changed (which again took 4 hours). They never called me to tell me it was done. When I went back on my own, I found out it was done, got my keys from them, and left. 2 hours later they called me to alert me that my truck, which is now parked in my garage, has been finished. Aside from the terrible oil change experiences, my recent attempt at getting my truck serviced was awful. My check engine light had come on and my fan was running long after I turned the car off. I called the service department multiple times, on multiple days, and left multiple voicemails. I never received a call back. Finally, I found a way through the app to book an appointment. They were booked out 2 weeks, but I still made the appointment. When I showed up 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment, they told me it would be weeks before they would be able to work on my truck. I then asked if I could find out at least what was wrong with it. They told me if I paid them $150 they could take it to the back and “get to it at some point”. I asked if they had an estimate how long that would take. The gentleman then looked at his watch and then at me and said “well is 3 o’clock now and we leave at 5:30 so sometime in that range”. Unbelievably awful experience. I would never recommend them to my worst enemy for service. I will never be back to them, and I would never buy a car or truck from them in the future. I hope this serves as a fair warning for anyone who is looking to buy a Chevy or use Beaty for their service. More
Their service department CANNOT work on all yout GM needs, when a part is discontinued like a brake proportioning valve for my van they IMMEDIATELY give up never seeming to realize there's a WORLD OF C needs, when a part is discontinued like a brake proportioning valve for my van they IMMEDIATELY give up never seeming to realize there's a WORLD OF CUSTOM PARTS FOR BRAKES USED ON TENS OF THOUSANDS OF CUSTOM CARS AROUND THE WORLD to turn to OR maybe put 2 and 2 together to realize a 3/4 ton truck shares the SAME parts as a 3/4 van and are INTERCHANGEABLE and they just leave you hanging to figure it out yourself all the while they wave the flag of surrender saying "oh we can't do that it's a liability issue..." what the actual F!!!! Putting brake components of ANY KIND IS A LIABILITY ISSUE!!!!!!! And you get a bunch of "oh we're so sorry...." lip service-no your not sorry......your INEPT!!!! The dealer is supposed to be THE place you can turn to no matter WHAT and get something fixed....NOT at Beaty. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THEY SUCK!!!!! More
The worst and most unprofessional service I’ve ever experienced. We bought a used but newer, 2020 vehicle, two months prior and bought the extended bumper to bumper warranty. The car started misfiring and turns out it was coil pack and spark plug. Then I was told the warranty doesn’t cover everything. They said to fix everything it would be almost $500. Two weeks later and multiple phone calls we were told we have an unreliable technician and we requested another technician only to be told no they don’t switch technicians once they diagnose the problem and we’re just stuck with him. So we’re just S.O.L. basically while we wait for them to find 30 min to put the new parts on. Had I known this I would have done this myself but they led me to believe 1. Everything was covered under warranty and 2. They asked us to allow them the opportunity to do any service to the vehicle upon purchasing it because they have the best service around. Definitely not the case. I will never buy a vehicle from them again, I wouldn’t even buy a headlight bulb from them after this experience. More
We bought a new 2019 Chevrolet Impala from Jamie Knight at Beaty Chevrolet and were very happy with the sale. Went back for the first free oil change. In and out reasonably quick. When I got home, I check at Beaty Chevrolet and were very happy with the sale. Went back for the first free oil change. In and out reasonably quick. When I got home, I checked the oil level just as I have done for years. The level showed 1 Quart OVER full! I checked it 3 times and finally syphoned off 1 quart. I advised Service Dept and never got any sort of response. Went back for #2 oil change, and waited over 1 hour past SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT! I was then informed that one of tires had a spike in it and could not be repaired. They replaced the tire. I got to thinking that the dashboard info did not show any reduced pressure at any time between leaving home at Sweetwater and arrival at Beaty-Knoxville. Asked to see the tire, but to no avail. However, the oil capacity was correct this time. Most recently, I called Beaty Service to make an appointment for 3rd oil change. I was told the next available date was in 3and 1/2 weeks. Made the appointment. Drove from home in Sweetwater to Beaty Service, arrived 20 minutes early . Finally, about 30 minutes after appointment time, their rep came to my car and I asked how long the wait was. He asked if I had an appointment and I told him it was 30 minutes ago, He said the wait time would be about 3 and 1/2 hours plus about 1 and 1/2 hours for the oil change if nothing else was needed. Figured I knew what that meant since I had been there before. I LEFT!! Based on my personal experience with Beaty Chevrolet at Knoxville, an oil change is about as follows: Make Appointment---- Anywhere from 2 to 3and 1/2 Weeks Drive from Sweetwater to Beaty-----1 Hour Wait for Service Rep past Appt. Time-1/2 Hour Waste time with Service Rep--------1/2 Hour Wait to get Oil Change-------------3 Hours Get Oil Change--------------------1 and 1/2 hours Drive from Beaty to Sweetwater-----1 Hour This totals about 7and 1/2 hours based on this personal experience, and does not include whatever extra service and expense you can probably expect! This is absolutely unacceptable for what should be a simple oil change! Incidentally, I made an appointment at a Local Auto Service at home the next day. They gave me a time of 3 hours after my call. I was there at that time, waited about 10 minutes, they took my car did the required service, checked all fluids tire pressure, etc , that Beaty claims to and did Not ad too much oil! OH YEAH, THE COST----They actually were about $5 more than Beaty "Coupon Price" which would probably not have been honored any way. And yes, they did use the Proper Synthetic Oil. I seriously doubt I will hear anything from Beaty, because They Obviously Do Not Care! But for anyone thinking of using Beaty Service, Be sure you check behind them and BEWARE!!!!! More

My husband and I worked with Roger trying to find a used truck for my husband. He worked very diligently and tried his best to find something my husband loved! The only negative we can say is that the finance department was not able to get us approved in a payment range that we needed, so we ended up purchasing a truck from another dealer the same day (with the same credit union that would not meet the same terms at Beaty). Roger is great !!! More
Ordered a 2022 Silverado on January 17th. After 4 different delivery dates came and went the truck arrived. When it came time to sign the papers the salesman informed me the agreed upon out the door price was going to be $2700 more. The GM came and told me that they cannot give a price on a truck until it is on the lot and that the salesman, Trey, should not of gave me that price. I left and am now in the process litigation. Do not believe anything that the salesman say. More

Once the typical "paperwork" began, I looked the same vehicle up on their website, and discovered it was $2,000 less than the initial listing price. I immediately brought this discrepancy up to the salesperson, who informed me that I was actually getting a better deal, considering all of the "other costs" that would have been added if I hadn't been paying cash...go figure! I purchased the truck, against my better judgment. However, I discovered they purchased the truck in Illinois for $4,000 less than I paid. Cudos to Beaty Chevrolet for making 4k off of me! Lesson: Do your homework folks before you let anyone screw you out of that much money. More
I have gone to Beaty for service since the late 90’s. I have bought a few cars there also, several used and a new Corvette. Overall very pleased with the service I have received. I have worked with Cory have bought a few cars there also, several used and a new Corvette. Overall very pleased with the service I have received. I have worked with Cory in service for the last 6-7 years and he is great. Roger Williams in sales is also a very hard and conscientious worker. I recently had service on both of my cars and he called and followed up with me on how everything went. One must remember when dealing with some service departments, these employees are slammed and I feel sometimes overworked. So it helps to have patients when going in. More

I bought a used vehicle from Beaty for the second time… I should have known better, as I had a bad experience the first time, but I dismissed my better judgement as it had been a Beaty for the second time… I should have known better, as I had a bad experience the first time, but I dismissed my better judgement as it had been a number of years since, and the salesman and people I dealt with in the past had since moved on. During the test drive I pointed out a couple odd issues that the salesman quickly dismissed and said was normal for that model. He said if any issues came up after the purchase, the dealership is a family business, and they always take care of the customer. The next day a handful of issues popped up, so we brought it back to have them look at it. They had the vehicle nearly a week, gave the vehicle back to us, and some of the problems were still there. I had to bring the vehicle back multiple times, and only had the vehicle in my possession for a couple days out of 6 weeks, only to get the vehicle a final time and it had completely different issues and they were refusing to take care of it. After arguing with the manager for over an hour I left mad. Needless to say, I will NEVER even step foot on their property again, and the thousands of people I deal with in the area will know my story. West Chevrolet is 10 minutes away from them and provide excellent service. They are willing to make appointments so you’re not without your vehicle for weeks. More
