Had my wife's Taurus serviced (under warranty) here twice now. On one occasion, there was some confusion and a boneheaded move by a mechanic: He said he couldn't find anything wrong with the car; when I went now. On one occasion, there was some confusion and a boneheaded move by a mechanic: He said he couldn't find anything wrong with the car; when I went to pick up the car, I toggled a switch and identified the problem within moments of hopping in; the very friendly service chief apologized and it was fixed first thing the next morning. The other occasion was for more extensive repairs, which took about eight days. Folks were very friendly and we were given a nice rental/loaner of the same make, but it all seemed to hinge on the fact that we had purchased the premium extended warranty when we bought the car. Relative to other dealer/service encounters, I have to say service here was pretty good. Minor bumps, but generally friendly and fairly competent. I recommend purchasing the premium extended warranty for the life of your car loan if you want to ensure you'll be taken care of -- you can roll it into the purchase price and finance it that way.
