Where to begin ? I received the yellow slip in the mail about a recall on my airbags on my mustang. I called Beach Ford and scheduled an appointment. Everyone knows I received the yellow slip in the mail about a recall on my airbags on my mustang. I called Beach Ford and scheduled an appointment. Everyone knows a recall visit means its a free service to your vehicle. I dropped off my car and went to work. At work I get an email telling me my state inspection had been completed....what state inspection ? My inspection was due the following month it was NOT past its due date. I call and my "service advisor" Ms. Gallagher (Spelling may be off) that I would get a rejection stick slapped on my car if I dont get the hundreds of dollars worth of work done to my car. Completely understandable IF I ASKED FOR IT. I knew it was pretty sketchy to begin with when they told me I needed a new air filter when I have a lifetime one. That simply needed to be cleaned that has a sticker on the top that says so as well. After speaking with the service manager Vince we set up an appointment for a later day for them to correct this wrong doing. Vince explained they would do the necessary services to pass inspection for free. Great customer service to make up for this bum-rush that Gallagher tried to pull. In the midst of waiting around for that appointment I was in a fender bender. My bumper was slightly damaged so when I brought it in my signal light was slightly off track. Still worked, still visible and NOT something Id fail inspection for. I leave my vehicle there under the impression my blinker bulb and brake light would be replaced. Along with tightening the tie rods. I pick up my vehicle with the brake light STILL out but my signal light is on track. I thought this was a nice gesture that the technician screwed it back into place for me. How thoughtful and I have a new inspection sticker. In my head, I can just take it to my local shop and get the bulb replaced for $20 like I have done before, no biggie. I took into consideration that they (well supposedly) tightened the rods which was a $300 service for free. Fast forward to a couple weeks later I drop my car off at my local body shop getting my bumper taken off and a new one put on. I get a call from the shop asking if I could afford an extra day in my rental car plus additional labor costs since my signal light along with my headlight has been GLUED AND TAPED to the old bumper and they are still trying to pry it off. Thanks for doing more harm than good Beach Ford. How unprofessional and tacky. xxxx, I could've got some glue and tape myself! Had no idea that a dealership would do such a ghetto quick fix ( another thing that I did not ask for) More
This was easy! I bought a new 2017 F150 this week. I belong to the Experimental Aircraft Assoc and was able to negotiate X-Plan Pricing. Emily did a great job, findi I bought a new 2017 F150 this week. I belong to the Experimental Aircraft Assoc and was able to negotiate X-Plan Pricing. Emily did a great job, finding me an F150 with a sunroof, in Maryland. Mike Z was able to match financing that I could get elsewhere. All this was done over email and over the phone, which made all this Easy, Peasy. They sent someone to Maryland to pick up the vehicle, and the next day, I had my truck. The process was clean, and was a good deal for me. I appreciate that. Kudos to Emily and all that helped at Beach Ford. Thank you. More

Service work If I could rate them a ZERO I would but their isn't an option for that. If you own a business and use your vehicle in your business do not buy a vehi If I could rate them a ZERO I would but their isn't an option for that. If you own a business and use your vehicle in your business do not buy a vehicle from beach or use their service department. I made the mistake of buying a new truck from them, I had the truck back for service/warranty three times. Each time I made a early morning appointment, sent two employees with the truck before the appointment time and left the truck . Each time the truck sat in their yard all day and they never looked at it. The excuse each time was , they where too busy with vehicles from the pervious day. They did not tell us that when we left the truck off. So not only did I not get the warranty work I was entitled to and the truck did not get fixed but I lost a whole day without the truck plus paid two employees to make two trips to this dealership. Also try to get someone on the phone, had to call back three times, no one returns phone calls. It is easy to buy TV time and tell people how great you are, it is another to live up to expectations. Beach Ford does not! So if you plan on buying from them plan on going to Norfolk or Chesapeake for service . I have now bought two new vehicles from Checkered Flag and my experience could not have been any better. I am just amazed that Beach thinks they can treat customers like this and continue to sell cars. My next letter will be to Ford Motor Company . asking why they would let this type of nonsense continue.. More

Customer services is lacking Worst car shopping experience of my life. Spent a total of 4 days at this dealership, Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. My car was totaled from th Worst car shopping experience of my life. Spent a total of 4 days at this dealership, Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. My car was totaled from the recent flooding in Virginia beach so I needed a new vehicle. Went to Beach Ford to look at a 2014 Ford Fusion I saw on their website at a decent price, low miles, exactly in my price range. Made an appointment to come in on Friday to take a look at it, upon arrival and meeting the sales rep, Diamond Blair, was told that that vehicle was in the process of being sold. So we looked at another Fusion which was a little more expensive, started the paperwork and was told to come back Saturday, came back Saturday and saw on their website another Ford Fusion at a lower price. Asked about it and was told that it was at their Suffolk dealership, sat down with Diamond and the GM and discussed purchasing this particular vehicle, after running numbers and increasing my down payment the GM was able to get me in the monthly price range I was looking for. Was told that they would call Suffolk and pick up this car for me, I informed them that I could return the following day, Tuesday around 1230. I would leave work early, which cost me 2 1/2 hrs of pay since Im an hourly employee and come to the dealership to complete the paperwork and purchase. Was told that if there was any issues I would receive and phone call. So Tuesday comes around, never received and phone so assumed everything was good, even texted Diamond around 1100 to make sure everything was good, reply was "Yes sir see you at 1230". Left work and headed to dealership. Just as I was pulling into the dealership I get a phone call from Diamond telling me that unfortunely the car in Suffolk was being sold, that the GM couldn't get ahold of anyone at the Suffolk dealership to inform them that I was purchasing that vehicle night before, never picked it up and was told that we could look at something else, really???? 4 days spent at this dealership, 2 separate cars that I was interested in, had money for down payment and lost 2 1/2 hours of pay!!! Will never go to this dealership again, told everyone in my shop about this experience so they stay clear of this place. Poor customer support and very unprofessional. Luckily, since I was off for the rest of Tuesday (October 18th) I went next door to the RK Cheverolet dealership and told them what happened and they took great care of me, 4 hours later drove off the lot with a 2015 Chevy Malibu!!!!! First time customer, will never return I suppose its my fault. I assumed a dealership of this size, which had been around as long as Beach Ford, would actually have a service department th I suppose its my fault. I assumed a dealership of this size, which had been around as long as Beach Ford, would actually have a service department that added value to the overall operation. I took my minivan in to have the rear door handle replaced. (Having a minivan with a non-working rear door isn't exactly optimal.) After being told that Ford no longer manufactured the part and no replacement part was available, I asked the question, "Wait, I can't open my rear lift gate on my minivan, isn't there another option?" The Beach Ford answer, "Sorry, there's nothing we can do." So I figured I would make a phone call to Freedom Ford to ask whether they might be able to track down a replacement handle. I was told that, although the chrome door handle wasn't made anymore, a basic black handle certainly IS available. You would have thought that my question about other options would have spurred the radically outside-the-box suggestion of using a door handle of a different color. Instead, it was left to me to figure out the solution and then suggest it to them! Yikes...who is training these people?! To add a little salt to my wound, when I was told the van was ready to be picked up, I arrived an hour later only to learn that the work hadn't even begun yet. The level of disorganization in the Beach Ford service department is a sight to behold. Head for the hills! Run the other way! More
