Unethical Business Practices October 5, 2017 I am writing this review in an effort to “bring to light” the unethical practices I experienced at Battison Honda in Oklahoma City. L October 5, 2017 I am writing this review in an effort to “bring to light” the unethical practices I experienced at Battison Honda in Oklahoma City. Last week I called their main number and asked to speak to someone in the service department who could give me a quote. I was transferred to a service representative and proceeded to explain that I would like a quote for parts labor and tax to replace both front wheel bearings on my 2011 Honda Accord. I was told that parts and labor for both sides would be $578.00. I questioned them about if that price was per side or for both sides. The response was that the price given was for everything, both sides. I told the representative that I would be calling the first of the next week to schedule a day to have the quoted work performed. This Wednesday I called and they said I could drop it off, they would do the work the next morning, and I did so. Thursday morning I get a call from the dealership, “Sir we have diagnosed your car and you need to have one of the front wheel bearings replaced. That total will come to $580.00.” I told them I had already been quoted $578.00 for both sides and they told me that I must have misunderstood. At this point I asked to speak to the service manager and was told that he would call me back. After getting off the phone, I visited with my friend and he called Battison Honda service and asked for a quote to replace both his front wheel bearings. He was told, “It will be $578.00 for both sides.” He asks “Is that $578.00 per side or $578.00 total?” The Battison representative responded with, “That is the total to do BOTH sides.” Finally at the end of the day the service manager returns my call and explains to me that there must have been some misunderstanding and that it would still be $580.00 to do just one. At this point I became very frustrated. After further conversation he offered to take only $100.00 off of that price and said that I must have misunderstood, saying “There is no way that we could ever do both sides for $578.00.” I revealed to him that my friend had called just a few hours ago and was told the same quote that I had originally received. The Battison service manager STILL refused to honor their quote. I finally told him that I did not want any work to be done on my car and that I would pick it up in the morning. My main concern is that as we got off the phone he said “We in no way intend to do anything unethical.” I personally have a spare car and will also not be drastically affected by a few hundred dollars. But what if a single mom, struggling to make ends meet experiences the same poor business practices at Battison Honda that I did. What if she was told, “It will be $578,” and she saves her money, brings the car in on a day when she has arranged to be without a car for a few hours, and then receives the same call that I did this morning, finding it will be twice what was quoted. Knowing that she would have to pick her children up from daycare at the end of the day, she would have no choice but to be taken advantage of. This is my concern. This practice used to draw in customers, a bait and switch, hurts Oklahoma’s most vulnerable the hardest. I gave Battison Honda every opportunity to correct their mistake and make things right before writing this review. Even after being caught red handed by the second call for a quote, their management chose to turn away and ignore my concerns. They did not offer to turn from this practice nor did they even acknowledge that it was going on. More

She had a specific model she was interested in and they tried to convince her to pick a different trim. When they did finally show her the car she wanted to see they never disclosed the pricing they were trying to work on with her. Turns out they were trying to charge $2k over MSRP for a base trim with no additional dealer options installed. Two days later she realized that she was missing her driver's license and didn't recall having it returned to her the second time they collected it. After calling the dealership the salesman informed her that it wasn't still in the copier so it must not be there. She then asked to speak to a manager to see if they would check the car she test drove. The front desk attempted to transfer her 4 times with no one answering. When someone did finally answer she identified herself as Natalie but stated that my girlfriend had the wrong number and that she was not affiliated with Battison. My girlfriend called back to the front desk to double check and was informed that Natalie was in fact an Asst. Manager but just didn't want to take the call. We were interested in making up to two new car purchases but it definitely will not be with this dealership. Additionally, we still haven't heard anything about her driver's license. In addendum I don't know for sure that Raequwon was the salesman that helped her as he did not provide a card but that's the name on the e-mails that I keep getting thanking me for the purchase we did not make. If you do purchase it, make sure that they give you paperwork at time of purchase and know what they say it covers (making sure it matches what they SAY) The salesman said that the vehicle was thoroughly inspected and had no major mechanical problems found and was told the warranty covered things that it does NOT and didn't receive papers until following week. Now have inspection report and NOTHING was inspected that they claimed was thoroughly inspected! The last supervisor I talked to actually told me that it was MY FAULT for BELIEVING the original salesman! Within 24 hours of purchase, the Water Pump and the Thermostat Gasket went out, followed by the Differential. Made numerous attempts to get the car repaired or the "warranty" refunded and was only offered a prorated amount of the warranty when it has covered NOTHING. RUN from Battison Honda and actually go to a dealership that ACTUALLY inspects and Certifies their used vehicles! More

The sales dept was OK but the finance department apparently has no clue what they are doing. Went in on June 3rd and signed papers. It is now June 30th and I am still getting the run around on getting copies of all the documents from the transaction. I am also still getting notices from the multitude of financing companies that they went through for finance and my credit rating has drop 50 pts in that time because of it even though they assured me it would appear as one inquiry. Guess they will lie about anything to make a sale. More

My salesman was awesome but the finance and accounting department was by far the worst I have dealt with in my 48 years of life. I will never refer anyone to this crooked car dealership. All that is needed is a simple fax to USAA from the dealership. Today is June 28th and they have yet to update us on anything ..its not that hard to make a phone call. More

My wife and I just had a little baby girl and we d Purchased a 2017 Honda Accord Sport Special Edition from Donnie and Linda Graham at Battison Honda. My wife and I just had a little baby girl and we did not have a lot of time to hangout at the dealership all day with her. We knew exactly what car we wanted and they had it pulled up front detailed and gassed up ready to go by the time we got there. Paperwork was already printed and we were in and out in under and hour. They made the process extremely easy! We will most definitely be back again! Thanks guys! More
